12 oz can served in a chalice.
Pours with a dark red-brown body topped by a small but durable head.
The aroma is rather rich and complex, with chocolate and fruit cake notes. The flavor is even richer, with dark fruits, some spicy hops and a load of roasted grains joining the dark chocolate. Mildly bitter finish, and never as sweet as expected from a brown ale brewed with honey.
Feel: medium body and carbonation; crisp with a slightly dry finish.
O: a flavorful and distinctive brown ale in a can. Recommended.

Weird name for a beer but nothing is really weird on this one...
Great reddish coloration, light as it is. Smell is malty with a strong whiff of honey. The mouthfeel is medium-bodied with an all-around very flavorful taste. I really liked this.

Looks opaque brown with a slight amber when placed in front a bright light. Smells of nut-honey oats. Tastes like a fine brown ale.

This is really solid, again I suppose not mind-blowing but the honey adds some nuance. This place is much much better at malt forward brews

Served from the can in a Lagunitas mason jar.
Pours a deep umber topped by a finger or so of beige foam. The nose comprises graham cracker, burnt toast, cassia bark, light cocoa powder, and pine needles. The taste holds notes of toffee, rye toast, graham cracker, and orange pith. The body is a light-leaning medium, with a light moderate carbonation and a thickly fluid feel. Not my favorite brown out there by any stretch, what with the non-melding flavors and ever-so-slightly-too-thin body. It's fine, but not something I'm gonna reach for in the future.
