Same ol d thing with these guys. Just about all of their IPAs end up being boozy. Glad I purchased a single. Just not worth the price of admission. Not my thing.

Appearance has a deeply saturated pastel orange tone, with a ton of frothy foam and lacing all around the glass.
Aroma of overripe cantaloupe and honeydew melon, pungent hop oils, botanical and green. Funky parmesan.
Tastes resiny and hoppy up front with an orange citrus creamsicle vibe, but on the back end there’s a lot of butterscotchy diacetyl that lingers too long. Nice creamy texture, ample carbonation. Overall the potential is there, but the diacetyl is a dealbreaker for me. Glad it was only a single and a generous gift at that. Thanks to Chris for this one!

Smells amazing; looks great; tastes really, really good .... ABV could sneak up on you as it is pretty easy drinking .... Need the plan a trip to their brewery in Athens!

Tasted in a Spiegelau IPA glass from a 12 fl oz can on June 19, 2020. Love the label art. The beer is nothing special in my opinion. Has a weird aftertaste.

Port orange juice with a big, fluffy, white head. Good leasing from the start.
Wonderful smell of candied citrus hops.
Lots of melon, mangoe and juicy hops. Great I’d bitterness expected and n a Double. Dome dank.
Smooth mouth feel as expected in an NEIPA
My first Jackie O’s beer is a good one!

12oz can poured into a snifter
A- pours a hazy orange color with a one-finger foamy white head that reduces to a film on top
S- smells of grapefruit peel, cannabis, tangerine & some tropical undertones
T- juicy tangerine and grapefruit up front, followed by notes of passionfruit, guava and a bit of lemon. The finish gives more citrusy hops
M- medium body with medium carbonation leads to a foamy mouthfeel and a crisp finish
O- solid hazy ipa with good drinkability

Pours an opaque bright orange with two fingers of dense white foam atop. Head retention is good, with a pillowy layer of foam lasting a long while. Aroma is papaya, tangerine, guava, grapefruit, lemon zest and orange rind, all arranged in an edible display of tropical fruits. Flavor profile is tangerine, guava, grapefruit, peaches, lemon zest and orange rind. Its dense and thorough tropical fruits allow little room for much else to pass through. Mouth feel is medium-thick with a pillowy texture accompanied by a light rind. Overall, dense tropical fruits and a pillowy texture keep this sipping easy and filling despite a hearty arrangement.
Served in a 15.5oz Speigalau tulip from a 12oz can.
