I gave this can away except for a big taste. My loss. It has pineapple in it, though, and nobody gets that right. Jackie O's did.
It pours like one of their other NE IPA's - less fake yellow cloudy looking. The aroma is sublime funk plus fruit. It tastes fresh from the citra, I assume, along with the right amount of pineapple, not much.
Highly recommended. A nice, high quality beverage, that is refreshing and not too hard to drink.

Look - tannish light yellow color with a haze but looks thin but not much head really ever
Smell - Very Very Slight coconut pineapple scent but the scent is really light
Taste - coconut and vanilla from the get go with a little bit of pineapple and some milky taste... Pina calada...
Feel - Medium body and creamy with a slight carbonation
Ovearll - Not a fan of IPA's with lactose (MilkShake IPA's) and not a fan of this one. Definetly has the taste it mentions, coconut, vanilla, pineapple and lactose.

Canned on 7/21/20. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy yellowish golden; fluffy white head that falls leaving great retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have a subtle blend of citrus and tropical fruit. Lemon coming through to give it a citric vibe. Some bread and crackers. Malts are there. The flavors basically follow the nose for the most part. More lemon leading the way along with some pineapple and coconut. The vanilla and lactose are there without dominating. Low bitterness. It's on the sweeter side, but it's not completely over the top. Solid malt backbone. Finishes juicy. Alcohol basically goes unnoticed. Mouthfeel is medium-bodied with moderate carbonation. It's slick, smooth and easy to drink.
This is a solid brew. It's basically what you would expect from the style, more or less. The vanilla and lactose accentuates the other flavors. It's enjoyable and fun to drink. I probably like it a little bit more than my "numerical score" might indicate. Not bad at all.
