Pours a heavy off-yellow; heavy lacing. Aromas of apricot, peach, and passion fruit. The taste is immediately sharp; a general citrus bite that expands with notes of general sweetness, true to its aroma. This is intensely sweet, but does an outstanding job of staving off the malts and masking the alcohol. Jackie O’s and Hoofhearted seem to have cornered the market on these high ABV NE’s. Nice beer.

Pours a very hazy light golden color with a nice cap of dense white head.
Aroma is subdued. I get some citrus and peach notes.
This beer was very sweet to me. I get a general fruity flavor. No bitterness at all.
Thick mouthfeel with moderate carbonation.
While this was enjoyable to drink, I found it too sweet and the flavor a little muddled.

It is certainly not uncertain that Jackie O's makes uniformly excellent products. They are one of the most consistently outstanding breweries. Most anybody can make a very good New England IPA, but the boys from the land of the Harvard on the Hocking make all of theirs just a bit better.

This looks very New England, light yellow and cloudy, with nice fine fizz and lace. The aroma is subdued, but much cleaner than is usual for the style. They must have used less nasty or less quantity of finishing hops than is usual for the style, and thus avoided the New England stench. The taste is sweet and bitter - extremely well balanced. It all goes does down very easily for a 9% brew, and there it seems like it will sit well too.

Highly recommended. I think my samples are very fresh, but I also think they would sit fine for a couple months. I will seek out more.

Canned on 6/23/21. 12oz can poured into a tulip. Pours a hazy pale straw; fluffy white head that fades leaving solid retention and sticky lacing. The aromas have a subtle blend of tropical fruits, crackers, breads and malts. The flavors are bold. Great hop flavors. Lots of pineapple leading the way. Some peach and apricot. Some grapefruit and orange. Mild hints of strawberry in the mix. Low bitterness. It's on the sweeter side, but it's not cloyingly sweet or over the top. Solid malt backbone. Finishes very juicy. Alcohol is well hidden. Mouthfeel is full-bodied with moderate to low carbonation. It's fluffy, slick, smooth and dangerously drinkable.

This is a really nice "New England DIPA". Really nice hop flavors. It's simply enjoyable stuff. I really like it. Well done.
