Nice clear amber color, crisp dry finish. It’s billed as citrusy and hoppy, but I’ve tasted hoppier and more citrus in other “juicy” beers. I really like this one. Goes down smooth. Poured with a nice creamy head that lasted. Not sure about the smell, seemed a little off but could have been the can or glass. Overall, this is the perfect one for any occasion..

Leah's second tasting! Super clear on the glass and only a light ring of bubbles ringing the lip of the glass.
Aroma is super fruity, tangerine comes through strong. Lemon, pine, and sweet mango come through as well.
Very bright and dry hop bomb in the mouth. Tingles the edges of the tongue.
The flavor is good, but not wow. Very piney and grapefruit rind. Slight sweetness, like a spoonful of marshmallow cream was added at the end.

Taster at brewery. Pale gold, slightly cloudy, creamy head. Aroma is light hops, fruity, malty. Not your typical West Coast IPA, but there are some sharp, piney hoppy notes that trickle in late. Smooth, creamy.

12oz can. Stamped on can bottom is 'CANNED 09-27-22'.
Slightly cloudy, pale gold colored body. Two fingers of white head, which creates a pillow top. Leaves rings and walls of lacing.
Aroma of grapefruit and pine. Quite aromatic.
Taste is orange, grapefruit, pine, and a bit of dank. Good solid malt base. Hops prevail in the aftertaste. Much more bitter than juicy sweet.
Fuller mouth feel, with light syrup. Very slight tongue burn. Excellent carbonation.
West Coast style IPA from Ohio. Piney bitterness lasts for awhile.

Mystic Mama is an outstanding West Coast IPA! Being brewed in Athens, OH, Jackie is one of my favorite breweries. Refreshing flavor of citrus with a good IBU rating of 80, and balanced with 7% ABV, the buzz and bitterness rating and flavor will please you more than any lager. Excellent brew for any occasion.

Look: It pours yellow and clear with a white head. Head retention is excellent.
Smell: It has grapefruit, spicy, and pine notes up front. It has a bit of resinous with orange.
Taste: It has citrus flavors with a bit of grapefruit and pine. There is a bit of grainy sweetness to it with some orange and low tangerine.
Feel: It has a medium body with bitterness, but there is nothing harsh and it is quite pleasant.
Overall, a well put together IPA.
