32 ounce crowler, filled 1/18/22. Served in a pint glass, the beer pours a dark brown color with a reddish tinge. There's about an inch or so light tan head that stuck around for a long time, and there's also a lot of lacing. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like caramel, dark bread, dark fruit and some chocolate. I think the taste is similar to the aroma, but there's also some earthy bitterness and a hint of licorice flavor noticeable too. Mouthfeel/body is medium, it's smooth and a bit coating with a moderate amount of carbonation. I thought this was a good overall Czech style dark lager, definitely worth a try if you like this style of beer!
