From the 12.7 oz bottle in a snifter. This solid collaboration with Hoofhearted
pours a burnt auburn with a thin head o off white foam that sizzles to a thin ring.
Nose of bourbon, vanilla, oak, orange peel, and subtle nut notes amongst brown
sugars. Flavors hit the mark with bourbon, vanilla, orange peel, oak, caramel, brown
sugars, nutty toffee, and mulled apple notes. Nice mouth feel; medium body, light to faint
carbonation, and a lightly dry finish that is warming and rewarding.

Overall---definite Jackie O's quality....hard to deny or resist!

Cheers

Well it is unique for sure, and overall it works pretty well. Sugary sweet up front with vanilla, booze, and toffee. It stays sugary through the finish with faint additions of orange and nuts. A bit too much vanilla for my taste. Enjoyable but not one I need to revisit.

12.7 ounce bottle, think it's a 2022 vintage but it doesn't say on the bottle like most other Jackie O's beers do. Served in a Jackie O's snifter, the beer pours a somewhat clear dark brown/copper color with not quite an inch light tan head. Head retention and lacing are both decent. Aroma is nice, the brew smells like nuts/almonds, vanilla, caramel, orange peel and brown sugar. Taste is pretty much just like the aroma, but there's also some toffee, raisin and bready malt flavors noticeable too. Mostly sweet tasting without being too sweet if that makes sense. Mouthfeel/body is medium/full, it's slick and smooth with a low/moderate amount of carbonation. I liked this brew a lot, definitely worth trying if you get the chance to!
