Many thanks go out to urbancaver for inviting me to his tasting.
A: Murky, brownish red with minimal head.
S: Light funk? Bittering raspberry.
T: Mildly sour, midly bitter blend of raspberry. Grains of paradise? Oak and butter. Unsweetened caramel, unique? A little bit like a saison in base. A bit tart. Very unique.
M: Watery with low carbonation. Nice raspberry essence.

22 ounce bottle poured into a snifter
Appearance is a dark orange hue with minimal carbonation and no legs or lace present
Smell is raspberries, blackberry, oranges, oak, vanilla, wheat, vanilla, caramel, bourbon, and hot booze
Taste starts off slightly sour up front with various subtle berry flavors, there are raisins in the finish, then balsamic vinegar with milk chocolate notes, brown sugar comes through as it warms and becomes more sweet than sour, never puckering at any point, bitter black licorice in the finish mixed with slightest hint of dark fruit by the end
Mouthfeel is harsh, it can be a bit cloying, alcohol presence makes itself known and it could really use some carbonation to battle through the thick sweetness, not refreshing
Overall this strong sour disappointed a bit, would have liked to see more barrel character or pronounced fruit flavor, fell a bit flat in having a standout flavor that kept me coming back for more

I had this on-tap at Jackie O's during the release event this weekend. Served in a sample glass.
Appearance: Pours a cloudy reddish amber with a very mild off white head.
Smell: Sour and packed full of dark fruit. Some malt sweetness and mildly funky.
Taste: Quite wine like. Sweet wine with some vinegar notes. Herbal and a finish that is somewhat bitter.
Mouthfeel: Medium body with mild carbonation and a dry finish.
Overall: I enjoyed this, it's a good stronger sour beer. I might have another if given the chance.
