Pours a hazy brown with an off-white head. The nose and taste are nutty, caramel, and good notes of raspberry. The raspberry isn't overpowering, but does play an obvious role. It's enjoyable on a cool December afternoon with the nuttiness and caramel notes.

We were lucky enough to have a little of this as an extra at the Jackie O's beer dinner at GHT.
Murky light prune juice with a beige collar, Frambozen (or is it BROzen) is nutty, woody, with very tart and bright raspberry, and a little funk.

A - Brown beer with some ruby on the edges. White head that dissipated a little bit and left some lace on the sides.
S - There is definitely some raspberry aroma in here, that is pretty real smelling and fairly deep. Little bit of chocolate an slightly roasted malts.
T - Pretty good raspberry taste with a slight bit of tartness. Little bit of roast coming in from the brown in this beer. No alcohol that I can detect.
M - Mediumbodied with fairly crisp carbonation.
O - Pretty nice beer that is fairly easy to session for a sweeter beer. Good stuff, a very solid brew for Jackie O's.

On tap at the brewpub on December 30, 2010. The menu described this as a brown ale fermented with raspberries.
Pours a nice reddish-brown color with a good white head and some lacing as it goes down. The nose had a bit of lightly-sweet roasted malt, fruit, chocolate malt, and a really nice raspberry presence. The taste was quite as integrated, though I really enjoyed what the raspberries brought to the feel with a slight tartness mixed with some sweetness. The drinkability was quite high. The ABV is hidden really well and I could easily knock back a few glasses of this.
