The pour is dark brown in color, sort of unassuming appearance-wise. First aroma I pick up is metal. There’s a decent amount of vinegar and maybe a little bit of puke. The raspberry comes through, minimal funk/earth notes. The flavor has a fair amount of sweet, berry fruit character. A light straw and grass funk with some sweet malt. Quite a bit of vinegar (mostly red-wine vinegar) and a weird roast note which gives it a bit of bitterness.

pour is dark brown, red hues, dark tan ring. The nose is sweet, cherries, light vinous note and a hint of dry wood. There is a touch of chocolaty malt body in there as well. Taste is a touch sweeter and offers more dry oak. The finish is a touch short and it's a bit sweet. The Brett has added a soft sourness to the cherry flavor and the malt lies very faintly in the back with a touch of a roasted note. The body is light, very syrupy, decent carbonation, kind of wet.

Served on tap into a snifter at the brewpub
Described as a raspberry porter aged in cabernet barrels with wild yeast
A- Poured a dark purple/brown color with very minimal head that left no lace
S- Smelled like cabernet, alcohol, some currants, really just smelled like wine
T- Tastes strongly of cabernet, black currants, black cherries, vinegar and wine like in taste, quite a bit of alcohol in the taste. There is a tartness to it, but not an extreme sourness
M- High acidity, finishes dry, drinks like wine more than beer especially for a porter
O- I think the cabernet barreling really overwhelms this beer, not really any roasty porter characteristics. As it warmed up for the last 2 oz. of the beer the raspberry characteristics came out more and a very mild chocolate note was apparent. Overall it was very good for a wine, which it drank like, but it did not remind me of a porter.

Received in a 4 oz. taster glass.
3.5 A: Dark brown color. Came without a head.
3.5 S: Brett, roasty porter, light raspberry. Super vinous as the cabernet barrels really come through.
3.0 T: Super vinous and really busy. The porter adds an unwanted roastiness to the raspberry fruit tartness that is trying to come out. Brett funk.
3.5 M: Lighter medium body. Good moderate carbonation that is lightly spritzy. Touch of creaminess.
3.0 D: It's not bad, but I'm not a huge fan of this. Too many flavors that don't complement each other.

Growler shared by Rich at Kill the Cellar Day, thanks!
A: Deep brown with a small beige head.
S: Vinegar and cough syrup macerated raspberries. Light vanilla and oak. Chocolate and lightly roasted grains. Smells really artificial and medicinal.
T: Horrendously medicinal raspberry cough syrup flavor with lots of vinegar. Light chocolate, but everything is dominated by the cough syrup properties.
M: Upper medium body with moderate carbonation.
Overall: This was surprisingly bad.

Read the description on this and had to try it. It's a good looking black body with a moderate tan head. Nice looking beer. It's got a nice toasty roasted aroma with a touch of tartness, hinting of raspberry. A nice porter with full flavored roasted malts up front and a tart raspberry and funky finish. A real tasty brew. Fairly thick full and smooth in the mouth with a touch of astringency. Still stood feeling beer. Real tasty, nicely balanced, and a good punch. A good beer
