12 oz. twist-cap botle, poured into glass chalice:
Pours dark brown with a head that becomes an island. "Legs" more than lacing sticks.
The smell is of robust dark fruit, dark earthy spice, chocolate, dark candy.
The taste is of dark fruit, chocolate, dark bread, candy with earthy spicing that balances much of the sweetness. Some alcohol warmth. Long finish.
It is rich and smooth. Soft carbonation cuts the stickiness.
A wonderful sweet quad. Complex, aromatic, delicious and smooth. Alcohol gives a bit of warmth without being harsh. An awesome brew! Highly recommended!

So glad I stopped in, this was good. I mean like Westvleteren 12 good in every way and was shocked that they let me get a growler of it to go. Hope they make more!

Wow. Didn't know what I was going to get myself into, but glad I did.
Rich flavor and smooth taste. Too bad at 10+ abv your limited. (At least I am)

To get the most out of this beer, let it warm up a bit after you have it poured. A very enjoyable beer.

12oz into a snifter
L - deep mahogany - basically black with a fluffy off white inch of head that dissipates quickly
S - raisins and figs with sweet malt behind
T - subtly caramelized malts with hints of toffee and dried fruit
F - A touch sticky, but full, and fine carbed
Overall a very tasty beer - well made, and worth a try for sure

32 oz growler poured into snifter.
Appearance: pitch black. Tiny dark mocha head dissipates rapidly. Slight amount of bubbles visible inside.
Smell: plums. Candy sugar. Classic quad smell. My favorite type of smell.
Taste: WHOA. I was NOT expecting something this rich in taste. Plums and candy dominate in a big flavor splash. Frankly, this is elite taste territory for the style.
Mouthfeel: slightly syrupy, leaves stickiness behind. Right on for the style.
Overall: Yeah, I'm gonna have to get another growler soon. This is spectacular.
