Pours a cloudy, pale yellow-orange with a quickly dissipating, thick, white head. Aromas lean toward bready clove with some orange zest. Flavors of clove, banana, wheat, and orange are very refreshing. The finish has a bit more clove than is desirable, and leaves a slightly unpleasant aftertaste. Feel is moderately light with a bit of carbonation. Overall, this is a solid, but not outstanding hefeweizen. Lots of flavor for a low ABV beer, and very bright and refreshing for warm weather.

Decent yes, good, not really! As a hug fan of this style the first thing I like to see is that great white head coming off the pour. Not here-just a little tease, then a little ring with nearly no lace. The color is near what it need be, but not impressive in any way. Aromas hint at banana and citrus. The mouthfeel is nice and zippy, offering good refreshment. The taste is above average but there are so many good examples out there, that this one just cannot be lumped in with the very good, and rather stiff competition. Clean and crisp with citrus and some rustic malted whole grain notes followed by a snappy finish-an above average effort-no more.

Pours straw gold and yeast hazy with very little head. I'm not sure if this is an old bottle or what? Aroma is lemon, vanilla, clove, and sweet wheat malt. Just a hint of sourness in the nose. Overall decent aroma. Very light on the palate with a lot of fizz. Sweet wheat malt taste, some banana, some lemon. Light on the flavor. I've had this many times before this rating and the conclusion is still the same - very drinkable, but nothing special. Prefer their lager selection.

One pint bottle purchased from Vendome, on to the beer:

The body on this beer is a semi-cloudy tangerine color. Not much head on top of this one and it doesn't hold well. The aroma is moderately spiced with a light brush-up of clove. The taste begins with a slap of fruit in the front. Carbonation is peppy and provides a little balance and crispness to the picture. There's an echo of banana, which is otherwise pretty clean for the style. Body is light and makes a good drinker.

Not bad at all. Though the unfortunate truth is there are better hefeweizens which can be had for the same price.

Acquired from brewcrew76, so a big Thank You goes out to him. Poured from a 16oz bottle into a weizen glass.

A: The beer is a deep yellow color, with a large white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.

S: The aroma is full of wheat, lager yeast, bananas, light malts and a touch of hops.

T: The taste starts out with bready flavors of wheat, yeast and light malts. There are flavors of citrus, bananas and spice in the background as well. There's a mild hops presence that provides a little balance. The after-taste is slightly bready and slightly sweet.

M: Smooth and crisp, light-to-medium body, high carbonation, finish is clean.

D: Tasty, goes down easy, not too filling, mild kick, good representation of style, It's a decent beer that is worth drinking for a while but there are certainly other Hefeweizens that I would select first.

Pours a sparkling gold that grows hazy when the yeast is swirled and added, hints of orange. The head was only two fingers tall, and quickly crackled away leaving no lacing, very disappointing for a Hefe, when it was there it was white in color.
Clove, tobacco, spicy, wheat aroma.
Crisp taste, grass, fruity and spicy, banana aftertaste.
Light bodied, maybe a bit too spicy of a flavor to enjoy too often, and the head was awful.

16 oz bottle poured into a Weizen glass

Look cloudy yellow with a 2 finger white head that slowly reduced down to a cap.

Smell fruit, spice, and yeast.

Taste Like the smell citrus, spice, yeast with a dry sour finish.

Feel crisp mild body with good carbonation, lively.

Drink Very drinkable all flavors combine together well. I drank both bottles I had from the sampler pack.

Comment this style isn't one of my Favorites. I'll drink it now and then but I don't go out and get it for myself. However, I think this is a solid example of the style.
