Amber, drinkable, watery. Bit of bitterness in finish. Maybe better than Newcastle as less sweet and nutty and more on the bitterness.Carbonation significant. molasses; brown sugar. Can see it being popular in the pubs, as it is in Florida, and a decent transition ale.

Nice grainy nose with some sweet caramel. Taste follows, with dark malt and even some dark fruit.
Smooth light mouth.
A slightly above-average brown ale, light but still flavorful.

Pours a medium but murky brown producing slightly more than a single finger of tan, frothy, shortlived head that leaves little lacing. Aroma is rich roasted malt, buttery biscuit, thin coffee, a little toffee & caramel. Taste is a little disappointing & thin: dark toasty malt, caramel & watery cola like notes with faint hints of cream & molasses/brown sugar. Lively with pepper from just before mid-sip into the aftertaste. Mouthfeel is light-medium bodied with moderate carbonation, a little oily but lively on the tongue with a graininess in the aftertaste. For me this offering is a little disappointing from a brewery that I have come to expect better things of.

Mild brown pour, tan head, 1/3". Didn't create lace, head didn't last. Aroma was nuts, brown malt.
Taste, very smooth, light, but not insubstantial. Smooth. Not bitter. Well carbonated. Decent stuff to order at the bar when you are just drinking, not tasting. Does nothing wrong.

This is a good beer. A little lighter for my taste, I've had English style ales before that have knocked this one out of the water. It has a good feeling when you take a big sip. A great after work beer. Splendid. 3.8/5

Small head that settles to no bubbles. The liquid is light brown/dark amber and reasonably clear.
Notes of molasses. There's some iron to the nose as well.
Thin bodied with a heightened level of bubbles. Some biscuit and toast to the tongue. The swallow and aftertaste brings out a touch of bittering hop, leaving a moderately lingering blend with the toasty malt.
