12 oz. Can
Best By: 08/07/2018

Poured into a Trillium glass a slightly hazy golden yellow color, pretty nice carbonation, with a pretty nice thick/creamy one-finger white head, which leaves some nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, guave, passionfruit), nice little diesel like. The taste is pretty nice, hoppy, malty, with a nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, pineapple, guave, passionfruit), nice little diesel like. Medium body, ABV is hidden nicely, with a nice dry/bitter finish. Overall, a pretty tasty brew.

The beer pours out a golden color with minimal haze and 1 finger of white head--------------- the aromas are of dank weed, pine, orange, guava and passion fruit-------------- the flavors are of passion fruit, dank weed and pine, the beer has a thin to medium mouthfeel with a medium bitter finish-------------------- overall this beer was nice, it was more dank than juicy but still a nice west coast ipa

For under 6% ABV this IPA (pale ale?) has a great full body with a very fruity aroma and taste. Malts balance well to give alot of flavor without the high alcohol. Minimally bitterness and finishes sweet and clean. I've only had 1 other beer from Ninkasi and didn't care for it much, but I'm glad I gave this brewery a revisit. This is a fine IPA. Enjoy!

I never want to get into a battle, especially when it comes to beer reviews. But there was a gentleman who rated this beer, and he was quite disrespectful. To me this beer is everything it says it is. 5.9% ABV with enough hop kick to satisfy throughout. The Finish takes on a feel of a $15 six pack, yet I only paid $9. 99 for it (Tax Included) It is not 'cloudy' like a 'quote-unquote' 'New England' style IPA. But it does have some of the greatest, minimal hazy particles that I've ever seen. In my opinion this beer can stand up to the test of time and become a year-round staple.

Picked up a 6 pack of this last year. Decent value, was like $9-10 a 6 pack.

Poured a yellow color with 1/3" white head, it initially pours slightly cloudy, but then settles into a zone of clarity. The commercial tug job is about Mosaic and Citra (cryo) understandably, but I think there is about 4 other hop varieties that they use in significant portions that vary up the aroma from that usual combo. Bits of tropical fruit and citrus, but also an herbal grassiness to it.

Taste is good, still dropping that herbal tea grassiness alongside some mild tropical fruit notes, pineapple, mango. Carbonation, texture is somewhere between a west coast and a hazy. Bitterness seems about 55 ibu, not the 36ibu they claim. Honestly seems like there is more Simcoe here than Mosaic and Citra combined, nor does it fit the "juicy" commercial tug job descriptor. Hint of wheat in the malt bill keeps it pretty lively and light.

This is a perfectly tolerable IPA, doesn't really.hit the "juicy" notes, which has it's benefits for my preference but if you're gonna advertise something...
Pretty typical modern IPA but a bit chalky and somewhat incoherent.
You probably wouldn't be mad if this was what was available at a wedding or something but this isn't a beer that I'll be seeking out again.

Rich, sunshine yellow with a prominent cap.of persistent white foam.
Soft tropical nose
Taste is somewhat fruity, with a berry hit up front followed by pineapple and papaya. A sort of awkward blend of bitter and tropical. Not terrible but a bit incoherent
Mouthfeel is nice and crisp but has.a notable chalky character

LOOK: Pours a clear pale straw yellow and all white head that was gone in the wink of an eye.
AROMA: Some moderate acidic floral hops. Touch of papaya or mango.
TASTE: Refreshing, light, mildly juicy.

Can with a best by date of 6/20.

Pours clear yellow with a minimal head or retention. Citrus in the nose but pretty subdued. On the thin side of medium bodied. Hints of orange and grapefruit on the palate with a moderate bitterness and some sweet malt. Finishes quick and forgettable.

Lacking the mouthfeel, hops, or juicy character found in a NEIPA.

12 oz can. Pours hazy yellow gold with a medium creamy white head that retains well and leaves some lacing.

The aroma is wheat malts with some funky sweet fruits and light green onion hops.

The flavor is sweet wheaty biscuit malts and fruit with an odd medicinal bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with low carbonation.

Overall, just OK. I remember this being better last time I had it.

Clear yellow-orange can pour with a thin head and a grapefruit/catty aroma The flavor is light orange and pineapple with a bit of malt. Would like the sweet malt flavor to last a bit longer before the bitterness takes over. This is a very light-bodied ale.

Clear gold with three fingers of bone color head. Rings of lace.
Smell is tropical citrus fruit.
Taste is tropical citrus fruit with a modest amount of malt backing.
Mouthfeel is light to medium with good carbonation. The finish is dry and mildly bitter.
Overall a tasty IPA on the lighter side. Easy drinking for sure.

8oz glass at Beer Revolution YEG Oliver Square, the only place in town that has this available, for the moment, it would appear.

This beer appears a slightly hazy, medium golden yellow colour, with one finger of weakly puffy, loosely foamy, and mildly bubbly off-white head, which leaves some defrosting windshield lace around the glass as things slowly progress southward.

It smells of grainy and crackery pale malt, some tame muddled domestic citrus rind, a further indistinct tropical fruitiness, and some plain leafy, weedy, and dank green hop bitters. The taste is bready and doughy pale malt, some still hard to discern orange and generic grapefruit citrus peel, a damp minerality, and more kind of underwhelming leafy, dank, and resinous verdant hoppiness.

The carbonation is pretty innocuous in its workaday frothiness, the body a decent medium weight, and generally smooth, the hops of the benevolent sort here, apparently. It finishes off-dry, the malt and lingering fruity hop essences presiding.

Overall - yeah, this isn't a bad iteration of the sub-style, per se, as it is certainly juicy, but in an understated manner. Easy to put back, and with no hint of the extra point of the ol' wowee sauce quotient, so I can't really complain all that much, can I?

Pours somewhat cloudy gold, a head that is white and smells of oranges, nice citrus. Mouthfeel is moderate and tastes of grapefruit, a little banana. Body is a bit thin and makes this a light tasty IPA.

Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a slightly hazy, golden color with a 1/2 inch head. Smell is of citrus, juicy. Taste is citrus, cracker malts, well balanced, mild bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a solid and highly refreshing beer.
