Fruity, juicy flavor. A little more hop flavor than you would expect from a 36 IBU beer, but very good, like any beer from Ninkasi. Rated 8-4-2018

Look: Bright orange and cloudy on the pour with a silky white head that ends as a lid and leaves nice lacing behind

Aroma: Tangerines, raspberries, Cara cara orange, strawberries, light mango, lemon-lime, wafts of pineapple, and sweet bready malt

Taste: Kicks off with an explosion of citrus fruit and juice that quickly develops depth as waves of berries follow close behind. Berries and citrus shine in the middle with appearances from mango and pineapple before closing with more citrus flesh and juice and a nice but light bite

Mouthfeel: Full, clean, medium-high carbonation, and lightly sharp and dry on the finish

Overall: I dig it. This is a nice juicy IPA with (thankfully) leans WC-style and is well-made and executed to boot. Nice citrus and berry presence with lots of “juiciness” throughout and a nice bite and lightly dry finish

NINKASI JUICY IPA - 5.9 abv
I was expecting the beer to pour cloudy golden but it light yellow and cloudy with a big head. The smell and taste is of peach skin and apricot. I have never tasted a beer like this. As you drink more tannin show and radish and turnup flavor show them selves which is odd in a beer. It is good but it may take a second can to see if I like it. The hops use are a rare hop - Galaxy and lotus with cascade as well. I just had to give to my son to try.

Ninkasi Prismatic. In the orange can. 06/09/23. Served in a pint glass. Pretty juicy aroma, especially coming off the foam. The body is nearly clear and quite pale. I'm getting some pineapple flavors along with guava, and I thought I had some tangerine or mandarin orange. Still has some hop bite, but the assertiveness of the bitterness is balanced out by sweeter, juicier flavors. The body is quite thin, there's definitely some wheat in here, and the brewer's website claims flaked barley.

Pretty good juicy IPA!

Pours a pale gold color mostly clear with a bubbly white head. Sweet fruity aroma. Flavor is balanced with a bitter grain flavor up front and a clean citrus finish.

somehow i have not reviewed this until now, i feel like ive had several of them, but for whatever reason never made it to the review stage. anyway, its a modern ipa, clean and good, sunny and soft looking in the glass, that ideal mix of haziness and refinement at the same time, short white head on top slowly settling back. a fresh nose of sliced tangerine and herbal bitterness, a summery vibe to this, clean to me, nothing metallic or sweet, objectively malty at all for that matter, but also not one dimensional. definitely an orange note to these hops in the taste, pineapple too, if its mosaic its just a shade different than normal to my palate, or at least combined with others uniquely, this isnt radical, but its not generic either. there is a little oily west coast slickness and linger on the tongue from the hops, and the flavor of them starts early too, really a pretty long taste experience here. carbonation is pleasant, upbeat but not distracting, and the ferment is very clean, nothing from the yeast here at all. simple in construction be well proportioned and real drinkable. an easy fridge beer to keep around, and oddly it seems to age a little better than most of its peers, obviously freshness is best, but this seems unique stable somehow, a neat little superlative in this style space...

This is a perfectly tolerable IPA, doesn't really.hit the "juicy" notes, which has it's benefits for my preference but if you're gonna advertise something...
Pretty typical modern IPA but a bit chalky and somewhat incoherent.
You probably wouldn't be mad if this was what was available at a wedding or something but this isn't a beer that I'll be seeking out again.

Rich, sunshine yellow with a prominent cap.of persistent white foam.
Soft tropical nose
Taste is somewhat fruity, with a berry hit up front followed by pineapple and papaya. A sort of awkward blend of bitter and tropical. Not terrible but a bit incoherent
Mouthfeel is nice and crisp but has.a notable chalky character
