Served in straight pint glass. Poured a nearly solid black, just a slight bit of a translucent reddish tint on the edges, and had over an inch of medium tan head that had moderate retention and no lacing.

The aroma had a nice light roast scent, and a solid grain base. The taste was pretty much the same, but did have a noticeable alcohol taste. The body was solid, without being heavy. Drinkability was very good, I finished my pint quickly, and will have some more while it's available. Overall, this is a pretty spot-on to the style. It doesn't really jump out, but is certainly worth a shot if you see it.
