The colour is deep gold – pale brown (40 EBC), the liquid is clear. The three finger head is compact and off-white; it sinks slowly leaving lots of thick lacing.
The smell is hoppy and quite bitter. Resin, grapefruit and toffee. Some sticky sweetness and a hint of pine needles.
The taste is bitter with spicy-citric flavours. Grapefruits, bitter oranges, pine needles, lime peels. Some resin. Cheap toffee, chocolate candy and vanilla candy. Medium body. The aftertaste got sticky sweet caramel flavours. Growing raw alcohol, brown bread and citric peels. The finish got notes of toffee and orange squash.
The carbonation is medium strong; the small bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is thick and a bit sticky.
Way too much sweet caramel, unfocused hops and raw alcohol.

Bought this at the release date September 5 - 2016 at Systembolaget, Sweden.
The beer pours hazy, deep orange. Two finger high, white head. A lot of lacing stays on the glass.
Nose: Apricot, orange, grapefruit, malt, grass and pine.
Taste: A bit light for a DIPA? Grass, pine, grapefruit and orange. Tired hops? WTF? this is a Swedish brew and I bought this in Sweden... Why do I feel this to be old?
Mouthfeel: Medium body. Medium carbonation. A bit dry aftertaste. Tired hops...
No this is not what I want... :(
If I've had an American DIPA burried in my beercellar for a few years this would be acceptable but now?
