The colour is brass, the finger thick head is beige. It sinks slowly down to a thin lid leaving some lacing on the glass.
The smell got notes of sweet caramel and citric bitter hops. Fruity notes of plums, grapefruit, lemon peel and bitter oranges.
The taste is smooth with semi-sweet pale and brown malts, citric-fruity hops and herbal bitterness. Passing salt. Medium body. Caramel, and cookies in the rather dry aftertaste in the aftertaste. Light bitterness, some herbs and passing notes of dough and baker's yeast. The finish is light with some sweet chocolate-caramel flavours, lemon drops and orange peels.
The carbonation is medium to strong, the many small smooth bubbles are long-lived. The liquid is a bit light and semi-smooth.
A very well crafted low-alcohol APA. The finish is a bit light and there are some odd dough-like notes in the finish, but overall I liked it.
