This is probably the second best place to go in Battle Creek for Craft beers. They have more Bell's beer on tap then anywhere else outside of Bell's that I have visited. Something like 6-8 Bell's brews (Java Stout, two Hearted, Expedition, Amber, Winter White, Oberon, amongst one or two others). They also have a good selection of Arcadia Beer, including a couple of their "big beer series." This is the place to go if you want Michigan Craft beer, as they have more then The Griffin Pub. Also on tap is Three Philosophers, and a couple other good Micros....and all those darn Macros.

Food is much better then most beer bars. Almost anything you can think of to eat.

The Hunt Club is away from anything else, so only venture here if you are on that side of town, or you are truely bored. I would recommend The Griffin over this place just due to location alone.

If you are in Battle Creek, this is the go-to place for craft beer. It is closer to the highway, away from downtown and looks like an ordinary bar/restaurant. Inside however, are regular people relaxing with lots of good beer, served at a decent temperature, fresh, with the right amount of carbonation. The bartendress was very helpful, and decent free samples(did she charge me the Michigan 25 cent minimum, likely). A number of Founders available ere, including a one-year aged Founders Scotch. Great root beer on tap for the designated driver. Noted for the food.

Of the many hunt clubs in Michigan, this one is my fav. beautiful selection of craft and micros, I'd say in the 20's area. As the name indicates, it has the appearance of a hunting lodge. Service was no differnt that the others in jackson and hillsdale, which is pretty good. Once again, craft beers and micros selection was outstanding. Bells on tap along with some others. A good place to go sit down, order a micro, and eat some cheese sticks or have a decent dinner. A decent steak for a decent price with a good beer selection with your food.
