Definitely looks the part - opaque and chocolatey. Might not be as refined as its obvious influences (Founders, Terrapin) but the flavor profile is pretty spot-on : heavy equal doses of coffee, chocolate, oats and roast combine for a pretty delicious stout. A little bit of a bitter astringent finish. Definitely a good order - won't be scared of this Flyers offering in the future

Poured a very dark cola brown into a pint glass with a finger of dark khaki head. Mild aroma of roasty coffee and cocoa.

Moderate carbonation and a creamy, surprisingly light mouthfeel. Roasty malt, caramel, and cocoa up front with a lingering finish of smooth espresso.

A really light-drinking stout. A little two-dimensional with the cocoa and coffee, but nice nonetheless.

A: Poured black with some brown notes, nice carbonation leaving a tannish cap and some bubbles

S: Coffee, perhaps oats, some cocoa, roasted malt and some booze

T: More coffee than anything. It seems to be the staple for the beer. Roasted malt, cocoa and some oats.

M: Medium to big body, it is a single stout and the body reflects that.

O: Good
