12oz can. Poured out a cloudy, straw yellow color with a rocky, foamy head. It left sudsy trails of lace on the glass. It smelled of banana, clove, cracked wheat and some toffee. Nice wheat flavor with banana, clove and some spices. Mild bitter finish.

Let's start off by saying I don't think the beer I'm trying is the hefe. The waiter tasted it and agreed that it was an IPA. When they went to the keg, the label said Honeymoon Hefeweizen.

Hazy, darker gold color. Moderate head with nice streaks and rings on the glass.

Floral hop with a mildly earthy malt nose.

The beer is far more hoppy than malty. There is NO hefeweizen flavors of wheat, banana or clove. The earthiness is more muted in the taste but still present. The hop is straight-up bitter. Moderate body and carbonation.

Pours hazy, gold in color with 1/4 inch head. Taste is wheat, honey, and flower petals. Sweet with medium body and carbonation. Makes for an interesting, above average and tasty example of the style. I like other hefeweizens more, but this is decent.

This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a gentle hazy orange color with barely a slim finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated within seconds. Barely any lacing graced the sides of the glass. The smell had a slight grapefruit to apricot to lemon edge overcasing a dim wheat edge. The taste had a combined sweet citrus to bitter-ed wheat conglomeration yielding a nice sticky sweet and fairly thick aftertaste and finish. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a decent sessionability about though a thicker aftertaste than other APWA’s. The carbonation was there but not too sharp. Overall, I say this was a fairly good APWA I could bang again.
