Pours a wonderfully deep copper color, but with no head or lacing at all. Nice deep scent with a good sweet malt backing but a rather large noble hop aroma. Good flavors with a lager crispness and an ale thickness, but more spicy hops than usual in a california common. Goes down reeeaaaly smooth and easy.
