Poured from a bottle a slightly hazy gold with a frothy white cap.

Aroma is bready with a sour malt quality.

Taste is grainy and slightly bitter with the same sour malt quality found in the aroma. A touch of citrusy hops comes forward in the finish.

Medium mouthfeel, slight dryness, and lightly carbonated.

A very easy to drink English Brown from Arbor. I recommend it with a summer BBQ.

Tree Fort pours textbook dark brown / amber with a moderate off-white head on top. The nose is heavy on sweet biscuit yeast and malty goodness.

The flavour is a fairly textbook Summer wheat brew: it starts off with nice, casual malt tones, and adds on a layer of casual spicy hops on the finale. It's not huge, but very drinkable.

The mouthfeel and drinkability also both finish in the slightly above average rating area: moderately full mouth, and moderately good take on the style.

The bottom line: Tree Fort is far from the most memorable beer that Arbor has released, but it's a serviceable Summer session beer. Enjoyable but not surprising in any way.

Brown ale or amber?

Pours out to a dark amber in the glass with a good-sized head. The aroma is that of malt, biscuit dough and light molasses. The taste features a nice rounded out malt to hop presence with a nice snap of hops on the swallow. This beer reminded me of an amber crossed with an English bitter. I like it.

A full flavored beer that could be quite the session offering.

A- Poured a dark, hazy golden with a thin head.

S- Smells unique but cannot place it, perhaps just wheat and spices.

T- The taste is wheaty with perhaps a hint of lemon. Finishes slightly tart/bitter.

M- It's medium-bodied and slightly bitter.

D- I can definitely see this as a very drinkable summer beer. It's on the lighter side but full of flavor.
