Strawberry Blonde is the perfect harmony of smooth malt and fresh fruit, brewed with a blend of fresh strawberries and pale malts to create a fruit ale that doesn’t forget it’s a beer. It’s always the perfect season for Strawberry Blonde!

Big fan of fruit brews and this one is right up my alley. A beautiful light ale with the smell and taste of strawberry. Easily quaffed, and a great cap to a hot summer day. Bottled poured into Tulip glass for this session. Close enough to A2 to make the drive someday to the brewery, putting this one on the list to try on the tap.

Slightly hazy light amber with a smallish head. Pleasant spicy ripe strawberry nose. Light-medium malt body, quite smooth, a hint of alcohol.

12oz can - the label proclaims 'Proudly Brewed in Ypsilanti, MI', so I presume that this one goes here.
This beer pours a mostly clear, medium copper amber colour, with three fingers of puffy, finely foamy, and mildly creamy ecru head, which leaves some decent coral reef pattern lace around the glass as it quickly evaporates.
It smells of candied strawberries, bready and doughy caramel malt, a bit of earthy spiciness, and some very, very tame leafy, herbal, and floral green hop bitters. The taste is green strawberries, gritty and grainy cereal malt, still kind of muddled spicy notes, and more understated earthy, musty, and dead floral hoppiness.
The carbonation is adequate in its palate-polishing frothiness, the body a solid middleweight, and generally smooth, with a wee airy creaminess evolving as things warm up around here. It finishes off-dry, the malt kind of edging out the guest fruit in the lingering sphere of influence.
Overall - this comes across as a pleasant enough version of the style, with the strawberry adjunct contributing a genial frooty character. Simple, easy to put back, and totally wasted on yet another day where I don't exactly feel like scraping a foot of snow and ice off of my patio to properly enjoy it.

A step below Dragonmead's version, this one is good but not in the great category. I would put this in the fruity category but also not a bad beer to have for the summer time. Probably would make an excellent spritzer beer.

Pours a gorgeous dark amber. Smells too heavily like booze with only slight hints of strawberry present. Definitely pops with strong hints of strawberry and malt on top of a underlying wheat flavor. Has a nice light feel with not much carbonation, really smooth for the relatively high abv. Overall it's decent if you like a sweeter taste, but with the overbearing malt flavor and the slightly too pungent aftertaste, I'll look elsewhere next time.

Pours dark orange to amber, light fragrance of beery, subtle overtone, nothing too intense. Good snap on the palate at first touch, smooth on the way down and a bit of an aftertaste that leaves a little puckered. It's okay, but not a favorite.

Not bad for what it is. Fruit beers are not high on my list. It IS pretty smooth for the higher abv.
