Appearance: Somewhat hazy (but not too cloudy) golden amber color--decent sized head slightly larger than 1 inch, lots of lacing after a few sips

Smell: malty (not hops scented), nutty, not floral or fragrant by any means

Taste: mainly malty flavors with a slight undertone of lemon/orange cites

Mouthfeel: a fair amount of carbonation, gives this beer some zing and adds a great complex quality to it--but not too heavy

Overall: Love this! What a refreshing drink, never had it in the bottle but on top this is a winner and my choice when I go out and it's available.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, no bottle dating. Pours lightly hazy golden orange color with a 2 finger dense and rocky off white head with great retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lingers. Nice dense soapy lacing clings down the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, light pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of juicy citrus hops and moderate malt sweetness; with good strength. Taste of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon zest, orange peel, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness. Fair amount of pine/grassy bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of grapefruit, tangerine, pineapple, lemon/orange zest, pine, caramel, toasted bread, and floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of juicy citrus hops and moderate malt flavors; with a great malt/bitterness balance and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth, crisp, and fairly sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice pale ale style. All around good complexity and balance of juicy citrus hops and moderate malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

T - malt and citrus are balanced with a bit of bitterness.
M - medium body with a smooth and clean finish.
O - It's a fine pale ale worth trying.

Serving: On tap, 1L stein
Served: 24 July 2013

Appearance: A solid golden color with some hints of red. A good one finger head that quickly dissipates because of the size of the glass. Some bubbles sticking around on the edges. Crystal clear. Looks tasty.

Smell: Sweet malts complimented by some citrusy hops. The hop presence isn't astounding in the nose, but its definitely there.

Taste: Certainly not a hop bomb, but a nice take on the style. Reminds me a bit of SNPA with the overall flavor profile, though I do think that this one probably has a slightly sweeter malt profile than the SNPA. The hops are mostly citrusy, with some bitter grapefruit-like notes coming through. The beer tastes clean and balanced.

Mouthfeel: Nice carbonation gives the beer some depth and body. Not as carbonated as a pils, but certainly nothing in comparison to a stout either. The carbonation was actually maintained through most of the 1L serving size, with only the very absolute bottom (the last cm from the bottom or so) tasting a bit watery.

Overall: Honestly, I think this one is a bit underrated here. I think it's a solid offering from Arbor Brewing's Ypsilanti Location (Corner Brewery) and is a nice, flavorful session beer. Compared to their other low ABV options, I think this is a solid choice.

Poured from a firkin at the brewery in Ann Arbor, the beer is a cloudy, hazy, golden-caramel coloring with a filmy, foamy, clingy, off-white head. Nose of subtle citrus, caramel notes, grassy highlights, and subtle resinous notes. Flavors are lemon tart and orange rind forward, with peppery and grassy highlights, and floral overtones. Lemon pepper and oregano notes, too. The body is light and smooth. The aftertaste is grassy and herbal, heavy on the grass. Smooth, slightly dry finish. Good beer.

Pours a nice light orange color with an off white head. The smell was nice with a lot of citrus and pine coming through. The taste was also nice with burst of flavor in the beginning from the hops and then a nice balance from a sweet malt coming through on the finish. Very refreshing although a little thin and flat.

Appearance is a cloudy orangey amber with a solid thick off-white head. Smell is citrus but overall pretty weak, even with my nose right up in its business. Mouthfeel is solid--medium bodied with the bitterness coming through. Taste is a very subtle pale, with the hops pleasant but not too strong. Overall a nice pale ale.
