Pours a dark amber with a medium head. Shows some retention and nice scattered lacing.
Smell is big and flowery, a little wet pine needles, and slight citrus and caramel.
Taste is beautiful combination of sweet citrus rind, pine and grass, a sweet malt foundation, and a bitter flowery taste.
Mouthfeel is just about right, a little light and doesn't hang around long enough.
Thanks to piclee for getting this to me in a trade. This is the kind of beer that makes one think about moving across the country.

Couldn't drink it on this particular occasion. I liked the place and the environment though and I’ve heard the consistency is not there and sometimes this is pretty good.

Very orange amber color with a modest amount of foam poured in the big chalice. Pleasantly sparkly on the tougue but maybe less head than average. Seriously sharp, actually. Light orange blossom aroma with some pine.

Resiny flavor with a decent amount of malt that takes some of the edge off the acidity. Seriously bitter aftertaste. Drinkable enough but it's more of bitter hops without the massive aromatics that I prefer. From the 22 oz bottle purchased at The Market in Anacortes.

Impressive appearance, somewhere in between dark orange and amber. Head in the 1/2" range, white. Aroma didn't pop with dry hopping unfortunately.

Taste was interesting, something fruity came through, and I suspect it may not have been from the hop choice, seemed like it was a steam kind of yeast. A relatively easy drinking with nothing out of the ordinary other than fruit esters meeting up with some C hops.

This beer has no hop aroma, smells of crystal malt and maybe some biscuit. Can't taste any amarillo but just a little chinook and a whole wheel barrow of malt. Good clarity and mouthfeel but to call this a northwest IPA is like calling a Toyota Camry an American car. Just because its built in the northwest... Doesn't mean...
This beer would go well with some fish and chips while watching cricket when visiting burton.

color looked good, smell was right but the taste fell flat for me. Very Flat finish. Certain you have to be a local to appreciate this taste. Food will not help this beer get past the flat side. The hop is there then it goes Flat? Why? The Bitter is there but the Flat follows Why? I do not know.
