341ml bottle, also called 'The Seasonal', as part of Dead Frog's current mixed-pack (even though summer has duly passed this year), as well as being sold on its own in six-packs.

This beer pours a hazy pale golden straw colour, with three fingers of puffy, tightly foamy, and somewhat creamy bone-white head, which leaves a few random specks of remote islet lace around the glass as things move south.

It smells of crisp, grainy, and mildly spicy wheat malt, a certain yeasty breadiness, orange and lemon pith, faint white pepper, and rather zingy earthy, leafy hops. The taste is mostly more of the same - sturdy, gritty wheat malt, some middling free-radical yeast notes, muted coriander, astringent orange peel, subtle mixed pepper spice, and lilting leafy, weedy hops.

The carbonation is tame, but still quite frothy, the body medium-light in weight, and generally smooth, with a wee tint of creaminess. It finishes off-dry, the wheaty malt, yeast, and orange essence carrying on like there's no end in sight.

A pleasantly tasty witbier, all the characteristics are present and accounted for, and pretty much nailed. Quite drinkable, even if the wind outside is getting much colder, and I'm definitely not on a sunny patio.
