Stumbled upon this gem while grocery shopping. For a grocery store this place has a great selection. In fact it is comparable to many very good bottleshops.
The selection consisted of many Northwest brews, stuff from DFH, North Coast, Alaskan, Unibroue, Anderson Valley, Avery ect. When I went in I saw Maharajah, 2009 Alaskan barley wine, and several other brews I've been looking for.
The only issue I have is that they are sitting unrefrigerated on standard store shelves. However they are at least cool to the touch and not warm so its not terrible I guess.
The prices seem reasonable.
Overall this is a great place in the South Sound to find great beer at a reasonable price.

Top Food is in the South Hill area. As soon as you walk in you can see beer signs glowing away. It is on the same aisle as the wine. On one side you have a nice single collectio raning from RR Damnation to Elysian, Avery, Hales, Trade route and Ninkasi..many other singles as well. i did notice a single of Old Stock @ $3.29 which was a little much I thought. Sixers are on the opposite side and towards the end of the aisle. Service is grocery store service, so what else can you say. Quality and service was good. My beers were not skunked or anything. Good stop in Puyallup.

This is hands down the best selection for good beer in the South Puget Sound area, and if they keep expanding as they say they want to they will rival Bottleworks in Seattle. Right now they tout themselves as having the best selection in Pierce County (just south of Seattle's King County) and they told me that their goal is to have the best selection in the state...good news for us south enders. Ok..on to the stats.

Quality is exceptional, all the high end Belgians, local NW micros, German, Easter Euro (Czech, Polish, Russian, etc), English, American craft (Dogfish Head, Stone, Anderson Valley, Flying Dog, Sam Adams Patriot, etc) and on and on.

Service is very good. There is a guy there and a newer gal that are very knowledgable and very committed to making this work. Amen! They also have a want list that you can enter what you want and they'll try to track it down for you and give you a call if they're successful.

Selection is awesome. Like I said, they want to have the best in the state. I would guess between micros and imports they are pushing 200 varieties. They also have glassware.

Prices are basically the same as Bottleworks and Metropolitan Market in North Tacoma.

Only negative I see is that most of the selection is on the shelf, not in the cooler. But the bottles I bought off the shelf were cool to the touch, not warm.
