It is an slightly bad Jul öl (christmas beer) from Harboes in Denmark. Definitely leaves something to be desired, and finished with a wonky sourness that I don't care for. If you are in Scandinavia and can find another jul öl, take that.

The beer is slightly hazy light amber with hints of brown, a rather small head that settles quickly and somewhat unevenly, little lacing.

The smell is sweet, syrup and nuts.

Starting sweet, dried fruits, raisins, ripe oranges, and then a rather unfortunate alkaloid bitterness.

Medium carbonation, small soft bubbles, a soft fluid, rather simple body but finishing with a short round dryness.

This beer had it's up and down, ending up on an average level. A gift from a friend.
