330 ml can, as Harboe Guld, from BilkaToGo, Skalborg. ABV is 5.7%. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma of malts, caramel, dust and grain. Soft mouthfeel. The flavour is first citric, then malty, with moderate bittering hops. Better than I feared.

Golden color with lots of head with medium retention and leaving laces.
Faint aroma of malt and herbal hops.
Flavor of malt and grassy-herbal hops. Hints of minerals and green leaves. Dry and surprisingly bitter aftertaste, clearly outweighing its taste.
Light to medium body and low carbonation. Alcohol of 5.9% ABV is well hidden.
An average beer with no thrils, its high point is the aftertaste. Among the Harboes with less alcohol, it seems to have a better quality.

The beer is clear, golden with a hint of brown, a small white head that leaves little lacing.

The smell is rather weak, a faint aroma of sweet bread, no presence of sour notes, very little hops.

It tastes somewhat more than it smells, some faint corn like sweetness, a touch of acidity, and mainly some alkaloid bitterness. Alcohol is there as well.

The carbonation is low, the best feature is some dry finish.

To little smell and to few aromas, nothing really exciting.

Note: this beer came in a plastic bottle.

A: This beer pours faint golden with a large white head that sadly "dies" to fast (the bubbles are of different size - looks kind of "cheap").

S: Well, there is bitter hops and there is malt - nothing else...

T: Again there is bitter hops and (unbalanced) malt. Some citric notes to this thin beer.

M: Strange... The beer has a much better aftertaste than taste. The mouthfeel is kind of rough with dryness, bitterness and lasts for a long time. A bit thin with nice carbonic acids.

D: This is a thin beer that is meak in taste but kind of nice in aftertaste. Since this is a "bulk-beer" - you buy lots of it since it's cheap you get what you pay for - an uncomplex beer that gives you the most "buzz for your bucks".

This can of beer was produced in Denmark, then it was exported to a German border shop. After that, it was bought through a mail-order firm and transported some 700 kilometres north (the last step might or might not be illegal). All in the name of tax optimization. What is worse, some of the Swedish breweries are exporting and re-importing beer this way.

This way, the price gets low; a crate of 24 cans of 33 cl beer is round $9. If one should have bought the same type of beer at the Swedish alcohol retailing monopoly, the cost would rise by approximately $20.

Ah well. The colour of the beer is deep yellow; the head is finger thick, white and quite compact with some lacing.

The smell is sour with flavours of nutty malt and some honey. It is a chemical/artificial smell.

A malty note dominates the simple taste with some notes of sweet bread. The aftertaste is chemical somewhat bitter with a slight roasted note and a touch of wheat bread.

The carbonation is, in all ways, average.

A dull beer at a low price.
