Hazy gold color with a thin rapidly disappearing white collar. Mild banana aroma that continues into the taste that ends with a slight bitterness.

I got this off the single shelf at the Kroger near my house. It poured a hazy golden with thin white head that is not leaving any lace. The scent was banana leaning and so was the taste. The mouthfeel is lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it's a decent heffe.

Bottle; not seeing a date on here. Hefeweizen glass.
A: pours a turbid dark gold, almost brownish hue, one finger of white head fades to literally nothing. Not seeing much carb in this. No lacing and no retention.
S: grainy with some mild phenols, and an almost fishy, saline quality.
T: tastes better than it smells, wheaty arrival with some clove and green banana across mid-palate with some tartness rounding out the end; finishes with some lingering phenols. All told, not bad.
M: lighter end of mid-weight, slick with lots of carbonation.
Okay.
O: I haven't reviewed a hefeweizen in a while, but this leaves me somewhat disappointed. Taste is fine, but appearance and aroma were really lacking. It's fine, and certainly better than Laces Out, but not a stellar example of the style or a super beer. Okay, I guess.

Not a terrible take on the hefe, mild wheat medium body fluffy carbonation with some estery fruity Belgian yeast that isn't too spice and plays an okay complement.

Nice Hefeweizen. Bananas, cloves, possibly another smooth aroma is noticed. Flavor is of the same. Tasty and refreshing. I enjoyed it.

Very prevalent banana scent, with a nice coriander finish. Little bit lacking in the carbonation area, but all in all a very nice brew. Anxious to try this one on tap in the Columbus area.
