There is no happenstance or coincidence. Dumb luck is a fallacy and randomness a commonly accepted mistruth. Much of what seemingly falls into place yet seems so natural is a result of Stochasticity, a concept embraced and exalted by this special
and unpredictable series of beers where exotic notions, ingredients
and ideas coalesce at an interesting and often unexpected endpoint. In pushing the beer envelope, we aim to advance imbibers’ options for something far beyond run-of-the-mill with this immensely thirst-quenching alternative. As original as the tongue-twisting name we coined for it, this Belgian-style ale is brewed with wheat and rendered optimal for summer with the addition of orange peel and hibiscus, bringing forth floral and citrus notes against a brilliant pink hue.

Not sure how aged this beer is but got it for $3 then aged it an additional 6 months so that has to tell ya something.
Served at cellar temp into goblet:
L: reddish, maroon brown copper with misty head and floating hibiscus flower and orange peel through out the body with some hoppy carbonation.
A: fruity, sour, Belgian yeast, bubblegum, lemon, reminds me of GI Sofie.
F: light and creamy, hoppy bitterness, slightly tart
T: Hisbiscus tea, citrus, floral hops, earthy, grassy, Belgian sugar and yeast, slightly sour, lemon, and berries with slight tobacco in the finish.
O: interesting and refreshing. a perfect light mouthfeel slow sipper and for $3 I just can't complain.

Drafted into a growler - Drank from a Weiss glass
Drank: 03.15.17
L: The head was light tan with mild retention. The body was a golden blonde with orange notes, displaying medium clarity.
S: Highly aromatic, sweet, floral, slight fruitiness.
T: Light and citrusy, strong hibiscus flavor with adequate hoppiness. There was a slight sourness to it that reminded me of a Saison.
F: Nicely carbonated, moderately acidic, and slightly astringent at the end (but not off-putting).
This beer was highly enjoyable. Its an excellent "Spring" beer to put you in a jovial mood; Perfect for warm weather before hitting the harsh, hot summers.

22oz bottle with my FW snifter glass
Sampled on 07/08/15
Interesting brew that I enjoyed much more than anticipated.
The pour is near a light magenta. Has a deep pinkish and orange like hue to it. Very clear too with lots of bubble action and some loose sediment. Fitted with a light khaki tan foam. Low in the lacing department.
Hibiscus juice – perfumey and floral like with light clove like spices and some citrus peel. Touch of doughy wheat malt present.
Hibiscus is abundant yet not overpowering. It’s a blend of tropical botanicals and fruity perfume. The coriander and orange peel seem to compliment well. Nicely done in that matter. Somewhat earthy and mineral like.
Alcohol is there but well incorporated. Feels a bit lighter and thin in body with a sharp carbonated bite to it. Dry crisp and lighter in the finish.
Did not expect this to be my cup of flowers. Probably a one and done but a nice novelty brew this is!

Slightly tart berry is bittered by floral, earthy hibiscus, while a lot more grainy malt comes through than I'd imagined would. Hints of orange zest accent while bitterness also emulates orange rind.

Brewed in the style of a Belgian Strong Pale Ale, available in limited release 22 oz. bottles and on limited draft.
Poured from a 22 oz. bottle to a tulip glass.
(Appearance) Pours a pastel head of a frothy foam consistency over a copper-amber body with light, flecked sediment and light, lively carbonation. Retention is below average and lacing is light and spotty. 3.25
(Smell) Unmalted wheat, biscuit malt, lightly syrupy caramel body with a moderately sweet presence, light, earthy and floral bittering notes with soft citrus undertones. Potency is moderate. 3.5
(Taste) Soft malt and wheat base with a moderately tangy acidic bitterness and fruity flavor from hibiscus to pair, juicy citrus flavor trailing the finish without the sharp bitterness of an aggressively-hopped ale. Quite pleasant and refreshing to drink. 3.75
(Mouthfeel) Texture is lightly residual, moderately sticky, pithy, slick, lightly dry. Carbonation is moderate, generating a medium frothiness and a moderately crisp finish. Body is shy of medium for the style, medium+ overall. Balance is nearly even sweet to tangy and bitter. Alcohol presence is light and there are no off characters. 3.5
(Overall) An interesting Belgian Strong Pale with a lot of juicy citrus and tangy, acidic fruit character. A bit less boozy and more accessible than the average Belgian Strong Pale ale, but very enjoyable nonetheless. 3.5
