22 oz bomber. Pours slightly hazy golden orange with a big creamy white head that retains well and laces the glass.

The aroma is creamy malts with floral, fruity, slightly soapy, with piney hops and some alcohol.

The flavor is sweet sugary bready malts with some fruit and floral piney hops that have a good amount of bitterness. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.

Overall, an OK big bitter IPA. It's a bit too floral with some odd soapy minty notes.

Poured from a 22 oz. bottle into a Stone can glass.

Appearance: Pours a bright golden orange with a moderate amount of bubbles. Solid finger of off white head that settles into a thin creamy layer.

Smell: A very juicy and dank hop driven aroma with a scent of citrus, pine, and grass. Citrus hop scent of orange peel, grapefruit, tangerine, mango, apricot, stone fruit, and lemon with some pineapple. Earthy and spicy hop hints of pine resin, cannabis, and grass. Malt hints of caramel, grains and cracker with yeast. A really good juicy aroma.

Taste: Like it smells, a very juicy and spicy hop dominated taste with notes of citrus fruit, pine, and grass. Juicy citrus hop notes of grapefruit, orange peel, mango, tangerine, stone fruit, apricot, and lemon along with some pineapple. Earthy and spicy hop notes of pine resin and grass. Background malt notes of caramel, grains, and cracker along with yeast. A really great hoppy taste.

Mouthfeel: Medium to full bodied with a moderate amount of carbonation. Very juicy and oily with a drying finish.

Overall: Another good version of one of Stone's many great IPA's. Good mix of juicy and spicy hops.

Old School West Coast text book big ABV DIPA. Resinous. Oranges, Mangos, Pine Resin, classic Stone prickly pine finish. Cannabis. This is all about what OG west coast IPAs are all about. 5 weeks fresh, but still fantastic. Well executed DIPA. not a new school fruit juice box BOMB, and thank you Stone for that. Nothing earth shattering, but what it does, it does very well. Hop nectar lingers on the palate for days. As it warms, It has most all of the elements I look for in a West Coast DIPA. A beer this resinious doesn't "Dial back the Dankness". Thank goodness. Creamy, bitter, resinous. A pot head's dream.

Big juicy hop nose of apricot and mango. Grapefruit rind and pine hit at the back of the tongue. Certainly fruit forward. Very well balanced. At 8.8%, this could get you in trouble. But yes, I'll have another.

One of the better IPAs from Stone. A touch rough on the mouth feel but citrus come forth so nicely and balance, malt and hops blend quite well. Great head and moderate lacing as it should be.

Poured from 22 oz bomber dated 8/7/2016

A: Light golden orange with one finger white head. Average retention and leaving moderate lacing.

S: Aroma is mainly stone fruits with peach and apricot with some tropical twist like mango. Pleasant, but I was hoping for stronger nose.

T: Peach, apricot, and mango combined with piney resinous hops. A subtle honey sweetness hanging around in the back.

M: Medium body with average carbonation. Finish is slightly bitter and dry.

O: Very nice DIPA with some nice flavor combinations. I just wish it smelled as good as it tastes.

Deep golden body, fat white head, aromas of pine and tropical and orchard fruit. Features Idaho 7, Azacca, and Motueka hops. Great blend of fruits and pine - very smooth and mellow - moderate bitterness, gentle sweetness... A real winner.
