Hop Revolver IPA brewed by Mandarina Bavaria , Stone Brewing, with an ABV of 7.70% This American IPA pours out a deep golden amber color with a nice white head. There is also a nice amount of lacing to this brew, it sticks to the side of the glass well. The smell is rich with hop bitterness, and earthy grains and malts. You also pick up on a mild sweetness in the smell of this brew as well. So far this is a nice inviting American IPA. Now for the taste, bit is bold with hop bitterness. You also pick up on a good amount of earthy grains and malts as well in the taste. If you are not a fan of hops this is not the brew for you. It is really hard to pick up on the 7.70% ABV in this brew. This American IPA goes down nice and smooth. There is nothing really overpowering about this brew, it has a nice balance to it. It is hoppy, but it is to be expected with this type of brew. The mouth feel is Bold, Hoppy, Clean, Smooth and Refreshing. Overall I'm going to give Hop Revolver IPA a 4.25 out of 5. I would definitely look this brew up again giving the opportunity to. Mandarina Bavaria ,Stone Brewing, did a super nice job with this American IPA.

This was a clean and light brew, with subtle citrus and tropical hops. It was very enjoyable and easy to drink, but ultimately just another forgettable IPA from Stone.

Pours a one finger, fluffy, white head over a brilliant, golden orange. Lots of lacing. Smell is not very big smell. A very balanced IPA. Hip is slightly citrus with a crisp refreshing finish. Orange and melon fruit stands out.

This hop choice is simple and not complex. That's the point of this series. Simple, focused, and a one hop showcase. It was really good not great. Some reviews here have me confused. You know what is going on here. I'm not upset by its .... carbonated feeling?!?!?!?? Who are you people.

Dry and very carbonated feeling. Unfortunately no hop flavor at all. Maybe I got a bad batch.

E for effort. I now know its this hop that I don't like, and the reason why I don't care for several beers. That said, I like the hazy color, and somewhat citrusy smell. Beyond that, happy I took the test but glad to pass on the other two from this sampler pack to an unsuspecting victim.

Pours a hazy apricot/orange color with nice 2" head with lacing. Smells like tangerine and fresh baked dough. Taste is clean, crisp, refreshing. Semi dry finish. It is strange getting used to a brew focusing on one hop (Mandarina Bavaria) Not complex. Amazingly simple albeit delicious. It takes brewing skill to showcase a single hop. This is really delicious. Overall very enjoyable.

Slightly hazy, amber/orange color with a quickly dissipating white head. Different, ample scents on the nose, with hints of orange, pomegranate and lemon. Good flavor characteristics, heavy on the front end with orange-peel, lemon and grapefruit. Back end a smooth, silky finish with subtle hints of pine and old road. You can definitely tell this is a different hop than most IPAs feature. Not sure I'm a fan, but it's a complex, different beer that I enjoyed.

Look: It pours dark golden with a slightly off white head that has good head retention.

Smell: It has the aroma of orange and a bit of grass. There are some citrus elements other than the orange.

Taste: It has a citrus flavor with orange being feature. It does have a slightly bready backbone to it.

Feel: It has a slightly slick feel with a moderate feel on the full side. The bitterness is moderately high and lasts long into the finish.

Overall, This is a citrus and orange flavor ipa with a slight malt backbone that is fairly good overall.

Snagged one of the last available Mixed 12 packs containing this hop variety.

Pours a nice golden yellow. Good finger and a half of foamy white head.

Nice sweet orange aroma that becomes overwhelmingly malty as it warms. Subtle pine.

A bitter flavor dominated by tangerine and pineapple. Again getting pithy hops in the finish. A nice character, unique when compared to all the IPAs on the market right now.

Crisp, chewy, but a smooth beer with a medium body that settles nicely.

This was another good hop revolver. Piney, malty, and with an abundance of orange and pineapple, it’s not my favorite rotation, but I like tasting MB hops for a change.

A chewy and orange, pineapple sweetness, but thick enough to not be cloying. The bitterness is an orange peel zest and pine. A bit of an earthy funk far into the finish. Incredibly drinkable for 7.7%- almost dangerously so
