Look: It pours dark golden with a slightly off white head that has good head retention.

Smell: It has the aroma of orange and a bit of grass. There are some citrus elements other than the orange.

Taste: It has a citrus flavor with orange being feature. It does have a slightly bready backbone to it.

Feel: It has a slightly slick feel with a moderate feel on the full side. The bitterness is moderately high and lasts long into the finish.

Overall, This is a citrus and orange flavor ipa with a slight malt backbone that is fairly good overall.

Snagged one of the last available Mixed 12 packs containing this hop variety.

Pours a nice golden yellow. Good finger and a half of foamy white head.

Nice sweet orange aroma that becomes overwhelmingly malty as it warms. Subtle pine.

A bitter flavor dominated by tangerine and pineapple. Again getting pithy hops in the finish. A nice character, unique when compared to all the IPAs on the market right now.

Crisp, chewy, but a smooth beer with a medium body that settles nicely.

This was another good hop revolver. Piney, malty, and with an abundance of orange and pineapple, it’s not my favorite rotation, but I like tasting MB hops for a change.

A chewy and orange, pineapple sweetness, but thick enough to not be cloying. The bitterness is an orange peel zest and pine. A bit of an earthy funk far into the finish. Incredibly drinkable for 7.7%- almost dangerously so

Poured into shaker pint glass: color is straw gold, head is very light tan with fine bubbles, head lingers well after presenting 2-3 fingers deep with a solid 1/4+ depth, head laces the glass sides well.

Aroma is orange blended with pine and herbs, interesting, different; malt comes through as well with light sweetness, maybe some toast.

Taste is similar with a notable orange component, subtle pineapple note as well, touch of sticky sweetness (not caramel like but sugary), malt is noticeable but not emphatic.

Mouthfeel is crisp, moderate carbonation, pleasantly bitter.

Overall a slightly orange, but dominantly hoppy IPA - good clean fermentation, subtle sweetness and good backstopping bitterness.

A: slight haze; copper in color; 1 finger ivory head that receded to a thin cap; very nice lacing;

S: earthy, pine, orange;

T: follows the nose from start to finish; moderate bitterness at the end;

M: medium bodied; moderate carbonation; lightly dry finish;

O: easy drinking;

Quick: look is a clear copper gold with about two fingers of head. Great lacing. Smell is malty with the hops coming in a faint second. Taste brings the hops more forward, but the malts win here. It's not a bad thing, just wish the hops were a little more present. The feel is medium with medium carbonation.

Nice, would like to try some of the others in the series.

Medium gold color and clear, fat ivory head, lotsa lace trails behind... Looks like a 7/11/17 bottling, so not quite as fresh as I'd like, coming out of the Stone Mixed 12 Box... Lotsa of sticky, sweet, almost chewy orange; resinous, maybe a bit of pine shellac... Medium-bodied, mildly bitter... Orange-forward beers really aren't my thing, but I'm warming up to it. Got two more from the box to see if my initial impressions are swayed...

Appearance: Cloudy amber, with a smallish head of off-white suds. Thin line of lace.

Aroma: Brisk citrus hops, namely lemon and pineapple notes. Solid.

Taste: rich and deeply hopped, with a lot of fruit intensity and tropical notes with pineapple, grapefruit, and orange dominating. Really a superb and standout IPA.
