Poured out of a 12 oz. can into one of my pint glasses, this beer pours a mostly clear, medium to dark golden color with a slight amber/copper hue with a good number of bubbles sporadically rising to the beer's surface. Has a white head is about an inch thick when first poured that settles to a good 1/4 inch thick with a thick ring of foam lining the inside of the glass and good lacing. Has aromas of some slightly toasted, biscuity caramel malt sweetness followed by citrus, lemony, grapefruit, orange hops. Also some herbal grainy notes with a hint of spice such as mint, and certainly some honey. The taste is pretty much the same, with slightly toasted, biscuity caramel malt sweetness that gives way to some honey and grainy herbalness that's followed by a nice touch of mint. This is all rounded out with the grapefruit, lemony, orange, and earthy, piney hop notes. Really complex flavor profile and excellent balance of flavors. In terms of forward hop bitterness, this is the most mild IPA I've ever had from Stone. The bitterness is nicely refined here indeed. Stone is managing to really surprise and impress me here yet again with this beer's flavor profile. The hops do get a big more aggressive as the beer sits and warms a bit. Has a crisp, yet smooth and frothy, medium to full bodied mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Has a very clean finish. All the different flavors really linger nicely in the aftertaste. Stone does it again here with this unique take on this style of beer that they as a brewery are intimately familiar with and then some!

Pours a slightly cloudy orange-brown with two fingers of off-white foam that retains well. Aroma is driven by biting notes of pine, resin, and dank hops. It's a hop soup, with no signs of wear or tear - in other words - it's strong and doesn't hesitate. Flavor profile is biting hops, nailing out pine and resin first, before sinking into a soupy display of syrupy resin and dank hop notes. Chopping through the dense forest of hops reveals a base of bready, caramel, and biscuit malts. Mouth feel is velvety with an effervescent finish. It has a medium thickness that expands to a medium-thick at the finish. Overall, a dense, hoppy beer that excels at dunking the tongue in evergreen forest hops.

Amber with puff; overripe cantaloupe, orange zest, and gooseberry; thread of toffee then noble spice, strawberries, eucalyptus, lime rindl. Zest linger.

Super spicy, along with subtle fruity notes. Very “pale green”: herbs, green tea, underripe stone fruit, honeydew. No tropical juice, which is a nice change. Not a million miles from the first batch of Windjammer. If this is Loral, I’m interested.

A thanks to the founding father of the canquest, woodychandler, for this beer. Poured from a 12 oz. can. Has a golden/orange color with a 1 inch head. Smell is of pine, light malts. Taste is pine, hints of citrus, some spiciness, moderate bitterness. Feels medium bodied in the mouth and overall is a decent beer.

Picked up a single from TW Arrowhead 3-1-18 for $2.29. Canned on 1-26-18 and best by 5-26-18. Cold stored since purchase, no fear with Stone's quality track record.
Beer poured golden orange with a nice white head that has some good hang time.
Nose is citrus forward and surprisingly fresh, nice!
Taste is well balanced between the pale and honey malts and the grapefruit and lemon hops. Finishes with a touch of grapefruit rind.
Mouthfeel is light to medium bodied, refreshing but smooth.
Overall i liked this brew despite its age. Glad i got to try this!

Hazy golden pour, light head. Definite floral scents with a fruity note. Taste is very hop forward (gee, I wonder why?) with pronounced bittnerness. No attempt here to hide the fact you are drinking an ode to the hop. Not exceptional, but well made.
