The beer pours a nice opaque golden orange color with a nice 2 finger white head, excellent retention and lacing. The aroma is fierce and huge with an in your face assault of hops, it's beautiful. Citrus and pine and floral and extremely hop forward, to the point that the base malt isn't even in the picture. May be the best aroma I've ever experienced. Terrific. The flavor follows suit though presents the malt base in a more prominent fashion. A biscuit cereal grain flavor as the base from which the hops grow and dominate, actually fairly well balanced and approachable, extremely enjoyable. The hop flavors are outstanding. Extremely good. Medium bitter. The beer finishes with a light 2-row malt flavor and huge hop character. Overall, this is hop-forward and aggressive and excellent. Highly recommended.

64oz growler courtesy of Mjmoon15 in a great recent trade. Poured into a Duvel tulip. Been looking for this one for a long, long time. Hope it lives up to my own internal hype.

A - Pours an absolutely clear medium amber and orangey color with two fingers of rocky off-white head that leaves nice webby lacing on the glass from top to bottom.

S - Right on the opening of the growler could smell this across the room. Lots of grapefruity citrus mixed with aq strong portion of pine...touches of floral/perfumey hops too...nice mix. Malt is quite subtle and barely perceptable.

T - Flavor is right there with the aroma. Nice blend of citrus up front with some floral hop flavors...pine comes on in the middle thru to the finish. As with the aroma, malt is mild, definitely perceptable though with a soft sweetness, bit of dry biscuity grain. Hop bitterness is rather low but firm and crisp giving a dry finish and a bit of resiny aspect.

M - Light to medium body with a smooth medium level carbonation. Dry and resiny, full of hop bitterness and flavors. Very smooth.

O - Came into this with high hopes and expectations and largely didn't disappoint. Definitely not an over the top IPA, but one full of hop flavors and remaining well balanced. As expected, more hop aroma and flavor than the standard Stone IPA. Glad to finally get to try this one...was beginning to think it would never happen.

I believe this is the version that I had at the Pony Bar on 12/15.

Poured a cloudy golden color with a big pillowy white head, impressive for a cask.

The aroma was of floral and perfumey hops, perhaps some light grapefruit.

The taste also was of floral and perfumey hops. More grapefruit in the taste which also had a touch of pine. The malt body is very light, just there to support the hop flavor.

The beer had a moderate body with soft to little carbonation. Lightly bitter and dry on the palate.

Good IPA with a light malt body.

Pours a beautiful hazed out orangish hue that held to the light appears lemon colored, A pillowy white head leaves sheets of lacing.

DANK citrus like piney perfume that leaves one with a wanting of MORE. The chinook hop is the allure hear.Christ I think I am high from smelling this elixer.

GRAPEFRUIT CREAMCICLE for sure, WOW this brew carries the hop well. Balanced with a nice dose of base malt this brew screams I AM BETTER THAN YOU!

CREAMED out grapefruit goodness and a splash of caramel sweet goodness but mostly 2 row WOW.

DRANK DEEP my friend.
