Stone Buenaveza Salt & Lime Lager was born here in Southern California, which is vibrantly influenced by our neighbors to the south. SoCal's warm weather lends itself to outdoor activities year-round. From surfing our coasts, to snowboarding and biking in the mountains, off-roading through deserted lands, or boating and fishing in our lakes and rivers, this Baja-inspired lager is the perfect companion. Brewed with just the right amount of lime and sea salt, it’s everything a lager should be – crisp, refreshing and full of flavor.

The name is pretty simple: we took “Buena” for good and “-veza” from cerveza. Because we’ve always believed good beer is an important part of a good life. So raise a glass (or can) with us to the buena vida.

Clear pale gold in color with plenty of coarse foam in the Strubbe tulip, for lack of a lager glass. Aroma of lime. Tastes like lime. Aftertaste of lime peel with a faint dash of bitterness. Not a lot to the story. If you like a squeeze in your light beer, for some reason, this might do the trick.

Sprightly carbonation, light bodied, tangy, and utterly forgettable. After a few sips I am wishing for the pleasant taste of a pale lager instead. From the 16 oz can purchased locally. Canned 06/26/20.

On-tap @ Miller's Ale House in Parsippany, NJ.

Served in a tulip glass. Amber color with brilliant clarity. Large fluffy white head. Really a nice looking beer. Sweet malts with a hint of citrus in the aroma and flavor. I wouldn't guess there was salt in it but I can pick it up when looking for it. A little bit of sweetness in the finish but very clean. Easy to drink.

Very, very easy drinking. Really nice upgrade to most any standard Mexican style lager beer. Had as a draft pour. Light, clean with enough lime that you don’t miss or want to a a slice. Will add this to my summer rotation.

Pours a clear gold colour with a thin head and medium lacing. Smell mostly of lime and a faint hint of cereal. Taste features lime and sweet malts. Just the right amount of lime. I didn't detect much salt. Maybe I missed it. No bitterness and high carbonation. Although pretty tame, good beer.

I like the can artwork, great use of color. The pour is golden yellow with a moderate amount of carbonation. The taste is lime all day on the front & towards the backend I picking up on some of the salt, grains, light hop presence. This was
a solid Mexican style salt & lime adjunct lager. Cheers! B

The venerable Stone is doing a Corona knock off? Bleak times, friends. Bleak, bleak times.

12 oz can poured into a pint glass. Decent-looking, macro-ish pour. Dark gold, small white head.

Aroma is quite faint, although that's probably what they were going for. Dull malt and a bit of lime. Nothing offputting, but also nothing particularly inviting.

The flavor is much more interesting. Good, not great, but interesting. Lightly sweet, grainy macro-ish beginning--which is, to be honest, hard for most smaller breweries to pull off. Nice, surprisingly firm lime zip in the middle, ending on yeast and a touch of salt. Mild throughout. Refreshing.

A very tasty lager, though it is mild and sessionable, it really is a great offering for the upcoming summer...

The look is clear with a puffy head, the smell has a nice blended odor of wheat and lime, and the mouthfeel is definitely highly carbonated. The taste has what they advertised - salt, lime, and a lightly wheaty flavor. We are looking at a good lager - one I will be on the lookout throughout this upcoming summer season...

Canned in a little stubbie 330ml crafty craft can and part of the last Beer52 delivery
Pours a fairly clear lemon jello coloured body with very little white head retained
Aroma is lime detergent
Flavour is at first, you think just lager, then seawater creeps round the back and a delicate kiss of lime & mint

Decent beer with salt and lime. Salt is a little more prominent in aftertaste. Had it on tap and a little flat tasting but enjoyable.
