Poured from a 12 oz bottle into my Duvel tulip
Pretty decent looking beer with nice cap of head that leaves lacing. Deep golden with amber highlights.
Smell is of pear and apple, with a biscuity malt flavor coming through. Slight Belgian yeastiness coming through, and also something remeniscent of honey.
Taste follows closely to the aroma of this beer; very subdued yeasty qualities up front, but this is nice with the fruity aroma. A sweet, rich maltiness comes through in the middle with a more tart finish. A heavy-medium mouthfeel coupled with the sweet and tart fruitiness of this beer makes it fairly drinkable.

12 fl. oz. bottle, courtesy of Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 8.7%. Golden colour, big white head. Lovely aroma of Belgian yeast, fruity esters, spices and floral and fruity hops. The flavour is spicy and yeasty with a sweet and fruity body, and a distinct hoppy bitterness in the finish. Only drawback is that the alcohol is not particularly well hidden, so if you get drunk on this beer, you understand why. Still a beer I’ll be happy to drink again!

12oz bottle
8.7% ABV
The Beerbistro (Toronto, Ontario, Canada)

The beer poured a hazy translucent gold colour with a thin white head, and detectable yeast. The aroma was combination of yeast, spice, and bready malt. The mouthfeel was medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour was malt, some citrus and licorice tones, and some leather. I was expecting a WHOLE lot more.

Thanks to GRG1313 for gifting me this one.
Pours a murky dark orange with a foamy orange-bone head that settles to tiny wisps of film on top of the beer. Small dots of lace slowly drip into the remaining beer on the drink down. Smell is of malt, honey, fruit, spice, and some oxidation aromas. Taste is much the same with fruit, honey, and oxidized flavors on the finish. There is a very mild amount of spice bitterness on the palate with each sip. This beer has a lower level of carbonation with a slightly crisp mouthfeel. Overall, this is a pretty good beer that is showing a fair amount of oxidation and is very honey forward at this point.
