Had this on tap today at the brewery. Don't see a listing for it and I've never seen it offered at the brewery before. A one time experiment?

Poured a brilliantly bold golden orange. Thin white foam head of about an inch. Smells strongly of grapefruit, pineapple (!?!), some pine, and sweet citrus.

Flavor, surprisingly, is not as good as the smell. Strong pine, some citrus, the tropical notes have mostly vanished, and there's a familiar bitter twang running through. Aggressively hopped, yet very drinkable. Lively mouthfeel.

On-tap at the Beachwood BBQ,

A: Pours a very light amber with a small white head and ubiquitous lacing typical of wet hop beers, a nice look.

S: Smell is of fragrant floral hops, wildflowers, grapefruit, cedar.

T: Taste starts out with a very earthy, wet soil hop component that gets more floral as the pint goes on. Malt is light, the beer focuses on the hops.

M: Medium body, very resiny as it is a wet hop brew, good carbonation character, firm structure.

D: A nice wet hop beer from Stone, I was interested in what they'd do with this. Not as good as Port High Tide, but an enjoyable wet hop beer nonetheless, try it.

Now listening to: Little Feat - Time Loves a Hero

Hat's off to Beechwood for this one!

A- Very light orange color, thin head.
S- mild nose of citrus/grapefruit
T- citrus fruit and lawn grass
M- light body, good carbonation
D- The grassiness would keep me away, but for pinot gris wine drinkers looking for beer, this would be a delight!
