L: A continual stream of bubbles rises from the bottom of this hazy gold pour to refresh the cream colored lacy 3” foam collar that takes 4 minutes to reduce to 1/3 its original size.

S: Fruit, faint smoke, and a very vague hint of pork blend with over ripe fruit. Traces of herbs and spice.

T: Fruit and spice, peach, citrus join the added spices to give the beer a savory aspect and it finishes with a mild dry spice astringency. The malt is moderate while the fruit and spice flavors are moderate to moderately high. There is a moderate to moderately high hop accent that comes out after the first fruit and then hangs on through the finish.

F: The texture really makes this beer. It is very creamy and airy with medium high carbonation and a medium light body.

O: An interesting and very refreshing beer.

The beer pours a cloudy pale gold color. It had a foamy head but it thinned out rather quickly. At first I get a strong smell of herbs, almost a little overwhelming at first, it is followed by a nice scent of lemon. I got almost no to little smell of any of the malts or hops in the beer. I get a nice mixture of the sourness and sweetness of the lemon mixed with the herbs and spices. It creates a very nice flavor. I get a mild fresh hop flavor to finish out the beer. The beer feels a little dry and I can feel the carbonation as I drink.

Lots of hops and pine for a saison, citrus is crooked stave levels.

This beer pours a nice golden color. It is very bubbly, but the head was minimal. The nose is very interesting: There's a lot of aromas that I can't describe, but it is very pleasing. The taste is very light feeling at first, then the flavor kicks in. There's a slight tartness to it, very slight. There's a citrus feel as well. This is a very complex beer, with a lot of flavors I haven't experienced before, but I do like it.

In 12oz snifter. Hazy yellow with above average carbonation... a thin white head that rose, and dissipated quickly. The herbal notes get more pronounced in both aroma and taste as the beer warms. Crisp and slightly bitter, but the bitterness also mellows as it warms. For me it drinks more like a glass of wine than a beer. Liked this better by the end than I did at first. Worth a try!

Pours a hazy orange color with thin white head that persists. Smells citrusy and spicy I imagine from the Belgian yeast. The taste is full but nicely balanced with plenty of the farmhouse style ale flavors that you'd expect - citrus and peppery herb notes. Feels modestly thick on your tongue. Finishes crisp with a pleasant aftertaste. I look forward to tasting this as it rotates to Victory and Dogfish Head in the collaboration.

Pours gold with slight haze and a dense head that dissipates quickly

Spices and citrus dominates the smell and taste. Bitter herbs and spices up front giving way to orange and candied sugar at the tail end

Crisp and refreshing

Good saison fron a good brewery (or 3)
