the levitation ale from stone brewing is a very solid beer. It pour a deep rich copper and leaves really nice lacing. The taste is a biting hoppiness followed by a steong bitter finish. The over all drinkability is nice for such full flavor. I do however like some of the other beer from stone better. This is a good beer but I'd rather have an oaked arrogant bastard.

On cask at the GBBF.

Pours orange-brown with a thin layer of bubbles. Gigantic passion fruit nose. Orange/tropical fruit Bubblicious malts with a caramel backbone underlying. Mad papaya, multi-fruit hops. Bone dry finish. Light to medium, dry, crisp.

Levitation dry-hopped with Simcoe for the Great British Beer Festival.

Fruit cocktail of hops yet no bitterness, and still with nutty, toasty malts holding it all together. Massive. Probably the beer of the festival for me.
