It's hard to improve on something with a well-deserved name like Stone Delicious IPA… unless of course you could double the Deliciousness. We’re talking serious depth of flavor and an explosive aroma of lemon & tropical fruit from Centennial and Amarillo hops, all with less bitterness than a typical Double IPA. The result is extra fruity, extra satisfying and extra Delicious.

19.2 oz. can packaged 07/12/23
Pours clear yellow orange amber gold with a creamy frothy white foam head. Smells real refreshing like fresh zesty citrus, lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, a hint of ripe tropical fruit, mango, pineapple, papaya, melon, some toasty nutty caramel, honey, bready biscuity malts, with floral grassy dank earthy pine. Taste follows with notes of fresh zesty citrus, a hint of tropical fruit, toasted caramelized malt, and slightly bitter pine. Feels thick, medium bodied, creamy and slick with smooth moderate carbonation. Overall a really nice gluten reduced DIPA.

19.2oz can, packaged 06/06/23, enjoy by 10/04/23
L: pours a crystal clear caramel color; capped by a foamy ivory colored head
S: caramel, grain, dank hops, citrus
T: bold flavors as expected; caramelized grain, bread crust, toffee, pungent pine, grapefruit, lemon, mint
F: full body, moderate carbonation makes it feel even more full, bittersweet moves to pungent bitterness with pine and grapefruit lingering
O: after reading the description, I wasn’t expecting bitter. It’s plenty bitter and super delicious! Classic DIPA with some modest new age hops.

Stone Delicious Double IPA
Stone Brewing IPA-Imperial / Double
West coast candy malt with a brutal piney, floral and sweet hop complexity. This 19.2 oz FL. Can is a brut. Malt balance is caramel sweet and smokey. Hops are bold, tangy and high in alpha acids. Candy apple sweetness with pine and earthy tones galore.

Clear straw, big head, lots of lacing
Biscuit, pine, some tangerine or something
Pine, biscuit, tangerine, then a bit more dark and dank, a hint of a buttery off flavor that detracts for me personally but otherwise interesting
Clear crisp and smooth
Unique and very drinkable. It's no Ruination, but I'll have another.

Crystal clear gold to copper with one finger white head. Nose is mango citrus and plum. Taste follows the nose with citrus pith and flesh with hints of pulm and sweet mango that folds into a pale malt. Body is light to medium with similar but very soft carbonation. Ends dry and crisp with some slight mango finish. Overall it’s solid, nothing wrong with it, solidly Stone.

Copper/gold body with a head that dissolved into a lasting film. Aromas of lemon, rose and tropical fruit. Sweet fruit taste with an appropriate amount of bitterness. My only knock on the taste would be it is almost too sweet. Silky smooth mouthfeel. A very good DIPA. If the sweetness was taken down just a notch and a bit more bitterness, it would be be even more suited to my IPA loving taste buds.

12 oz can
Clear dark golden in color, thick white head. Good lacing and retention. Big hop aroma - citrus, a little dank. Clean flavor, fairly bitter. Thinner bodied, but a little sticky.
