You have in your hands a devastatingly fresh double IPA. While freshness is a key component of many beers - especially big, citrusy, floral IPAs - we've taken it further, a lot further, in this IPA. You see, we specifically brewed it NOT to last. We've not only gone to extensive lengths to ensure that you're getting this beer in your hands within an extraordinarily short window, we made sure that the Enjoy By date isn't randomly etched in tiny text somewhere on the label, to be overlooked by all but the most attentive of retailers and consumers. Instead, we've sent a clear message with the name of the beer itself that there is no better time than right now to enjoy this IPA.

This is an impressive brew. Golden orange liquid topped by a clean white head that is large and slow to leave. When it does it leaves quite a bit of evidence of its presence. Nose has an abundance of tropical fruits and light sweet malty goodness. The two pair to create an olfactory delight . Taste builds from there. Hops hops everywhere and just enough malt to ride. While big and pervasive they are not a grapefruit bomb. Multilayered and multifaceted they display an attention to the smallest detail. The tropical side is dominant when colder with the lovely citrus showing its yellow skinned dry and puckering edge as it warms. In all cases the abv is a "Say What?". You can pound this brew and not know it until you wake up on the floor. Feel is medium heavy with a full creamy carbonation the enhances the overall quenching quality. It just drinks like a session ale. A superb beer in all aspects. I love the attention to the hop construct that drives a brewers vision to create something like this.

Poured from 22oz bomber into a tulip. This is the Enjoy By 12.26.14.

Appearance: rich golden hue with a light haze and a light effervescence. Head is a finger of frothy ivory foam, leaving a nice lace on the glass. Not bad at all.

Smell: fresh, sweet, grassy, green hops; lighter than I was expecting in intensity, but the freshness is just superb.

Taste: big fresh hops really make all the difference. Lightly citrusy, grassy and just a little bit tangeriney; quite well done indeed.

Mouthfeel: medium body with a good carbonation and a good creaminess for the style.

Overall: this is quite a good beer. Something about the composition of the hops isn't my favorite, but the freshness and craft quality cannot be disputed. Kudos on that.

Bomber bottle, drink by 12/26/14 bought at Brown Jug, Anchorage, AK on 12/17/14.

Poured into a clear no marking Can glass

Look- Crystal Clear with an aggressive put it lays down a 1 finger head that dissipates after the first drink or within 2 minutes.

Smell- Fantastic!!! Fresh handful of hops all in your nose, super dank fresh smell. Some pineapple and a left nostril bite of faint fresh tobacco leaves. a teeny bite of mango at the end too.

Taste- Front of the tounge is stingy bitterness, then rocks back to let you taste the hops all the way back, some fruitiness, little vegetal. Over all a fantastic taste. Exactly what i want in a DIPA the 9.4% ABV is hidden so nicely its scary, little bit of malt on the after taste along with a rooftop bitterness that lingers after each gulp.

Feel- Feels great in the mouth, that heaviness that you want from an IPA but not even close to big beer heavy and liteness you want in a drinkable beer but not bud light light, its that perfect happy medium.

Overall- I love this beer, but i wish it had some personality in the appearance, nothing more beautiful than a hazy unfiltered IPA, this beer would be almost perfect if it came unfiltered that orangeish bronzish gold color would dazzle in my eyes.

Get ahold of this beer if you can. and buy lots of it. Luckily i got ahold of the last bottle in alaska.

Slightly thick off white head. Light gold in color. Floral and citrus dominates the nose with great pine notes. Tastes just as good as it smells. Lots of fruity hops and pine. Definitely one of my favorite IPAs that I have tasted.
