You have in your hands a devastatingly fresh double IPA. While freshness is a key component of many beers - especially big, citrusy, floral IPAs - we've taken it further, a lot further, in this IPA. You see, we specifically brewed it NOT to last. We've not only gone to extensive lengths to ensure that you're getting this beer in your hands within an extraordinarily short window, we made sure that the Enjoy By date isn't randomly etched in tiny text somewhere on the label, to be overlooked by all but the most attentive of retailers and consumers. Instead, we've sent a clear message with the name of the beer itself that there is no better time than right now to enjoy this IPA.

Huge thanks to Rutager for this

Enjoy By 4/20/13. Consumed 4/19/13

Lightly hazed golden orange colour, one finger of white head, good amount of lace on the glass. Huge citrus upfront, grapefruit, pineapple, orange, mango and a faint lemon, a bit of sweet honey dew like malt but certainly not shortage of hops in this. Taste is citrusy, grapefruit and pineapple, a bit of dank piney flavours, solid bitterness throughout , starts off dry and hoppy with a touch of sweet malts toward the end. Light dry carbonation, medium bodied and fairly oily as well. Just incredible stuff, cartainly something I would love to have again and again.

Very bright white head with a thick foamy texture. The color appears more golden with less orange hues typical for an IPA.

The scent is remarkably complex with floral and citrus hops blending well. Mango, tangerine, lemon, and orange play out of a sweet citrusy tone. Musky, pine and earthy scents mix in as well, in a strong aromatic display.

The taste is equally complex and strong but more dominated by the earthy, musky and even oniony hop characters. The citrus notes are near the front but its hard to discern the individual tastes. The floral, piney tastes than dominate and finish. No alcohol taste is present but a great warmth spreads through the chest.

I can appreciate this for all the character it possesses even if it is not necessarily my cup of beer.

Pours a clear, soft orange color, with a 2 finger of white head. Left lots of lace.

The aroma is Floral and fruity, citrus and tropical fruits. Some mango and pineapple. Not much in the way of malts, but that's probably intentional.

Lots of tropical fruits, pineapple, orange, lemon zest, slight bready malts, touches of pine too.

The feel is upper medium, slightly crisp with a good, not-overbearing feel to it.

I'd say this is a super successful IPA. I love the premise and assurance that you will be getting awesomeness. Bravo

Look: pours a bright golden yellow with a big fluffy white head; endless amounts of lace on the glass.
Smell: pine resin, tropical fruits, chopped onion, herbal and dank hops.
Taste: sticky pine resins up front, with a strong hop bitterness. Tropical fruits dance across the palate, everything from pineapple to peach to grapefruit and mango. Sweet honey malt character balances underneath everything. Superb.
Feel: medium body, lots of carbonation, lingering aftertaste.
Overall: One of the premier DIPAs out there.
