Very sharp, crisp beer. Almost a little oaky. The finish is extremely dry and bitter. This beer grows on you as it warms up. Very confident beer.

Pale Ale 2.0, where are the hops? The bevarian hops theyve used are very mild...tastes like a hoppy lager not the best probably wont purchase again

This poured an orangey and somewhat darker amber. Very hazy. Nice bubbles making their way to the top and a creamy head of white foam that had ample retention even though it had loose bubbles on top and a shaving cream type foam underneath. Nose is good dry malts, a touch of caramel. Woody twiggy and herbal hops. A bit nutty as it warms. Taste follows the nose all the way. The mouthfeel is medium to slightly fullish as it drinks. The bitterness in this beer is perfection. It meets the malt squarely and evenly. The beer is not that sweet so the little bit of linger that the the bitterness has is just right. I taste only a little bit of orange in this as it warms.

Smells like a lager and sort of tastes like a very hoppy lager. Overall, pretty refreshing.

Poured from bottle into a pint glass

Appearance – For a pale ale this is really not all that pale with the beer pouring hazed, deep amber color with a one finger head of white foam. The head fades moderately quickly leaving a lighter level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass.

Smell – The aroma of the beer is strongest of a caramel aroma mixed with a little bit of a bready smell. Along with these aromas are some lighter smells of grassy smells as well as a little bit of a light fruit of apple and pear.

Taste – The taste begins with a rather bready and slightly grainy flavor with a hint of a grassy hop right upfront. Some caramel flavors are also upfront, with these growing slightly stronger to the middle of the taste but only increasing to later fade a bit as the taste moves on further to the end. Some of the light fruit flavors work their way onto the tongue throughout the taste all while the hop get more potent in taste. In the end the grassy and some more herbal and earthy hop flavors become more pronounced, and leave one with a rather bready and lightly sweet, sort of dank hopped pale ale flavor to linger on the tongue.

Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the medium side overall with a moderate thickness and a medium level of carbonation. For the more dank hop, mixed with sweet and bread, the feel is rather nice as it keeps with the easy drinkability of a pale of 5.4 % all while highlighting the hop nicely.

Overall – A good pale ale overall. Quite nice in hops and malt all while keeping an easy drinking feel. Rather tasty.

A: pours a 1/4 in head that dissipates after first two sips. Amber in color. .
S: very inviting baked bread smell. Yeasty. I don't detect the hops.
T: crispy solid malt throughout. Buttery aftertaste.
M: crisp bite up front melds into buttery smoothing of mouthfeel. Very light carbonation that quickly flattens but not affecting mouthfeel in a bad way.

Deliciously simple.
