22 ounce bottle - $7.49 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a bright, clear, yellow-orange body with a hefty, foaming, whitish head. Moderate lacing.
Smell: Pale malts, bready, a bit cookie-hinting before the stronger, more fragrant hops hit the nose -- fresh flowers, citrus fruits, mango. The coconut addition remains rather delicate, timid even.
Taste: Lightly bready pale malts with a touch of sugar cookie to it, though, don't get me wrong, there's very little sweetness present. Floral, lemony hops, also a bit of additional tropical fruit, even some apricot. Brightly bitter throughout. The coconut remains regrettably subtle. A little toastiness and coconut peeks through on the dry, bitter, acidic finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-plus body. Medium carbonation. Slightly oily on the tongue.
Overall: Pass. I was left wanting more coconut flavor as very little showed up in the final product, at least for me.

I was honestly surprised by this beer. An IPA mixed with just the right amount of alcohol. The coconut was sweet but not too sweet and it helped balanced the bitterness level of this IPA. The coconut flavor reminded me of something you would taste in Almond Joy, it's sweet but acceptable. This is a really fun beer and I recommend it. I hope they rerelease it in the future.
