Man... I find it difficult speaking ill of Stone, but the last few experiences pushed me over the edge.

Staff- I get the whole "arrogant bastard" marketing vibe of Stone, but arrogant, snobby 18 year old hostesses, waiters, and waitresses is enough for me to not drive the extra 20 miles, and stop short at Pizza Port where I'll spend half the money for double the food and drink.

Food- You get a little food, for a lot of money. Some dishes are better than others, the buffalo burger is great, tempeh shepherd's pie was delicious, but most of the entrees fall flat, and the portions are tiny. Not worth the money, and certainly not worth the drive.

Beer- This is the only reason I would ever stop here again. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Stone fan, this isn't a critique of the brand, but the bistro. They have a huge bottle offering, great tap selection, and they often tap aged, and variations of their beers. You cant beat this beer selection

Did I mention how obnoxious the hostesses are?

The facility is gorgeous, they've got a great tour, and the garden is beautiful. I would encourage every Stone fan to make their pilgrimage and pay their respects to the gods, but I personally don't see myself making a 40 mile drive to Escondido anytime soon.

Took the 6pm tour while traveling for business. Tour was pretty basic but it's worth it just to see the awesome facilities. Was a little dissapointed in the tasting glass as opposed to the full size pint glass offered with many tours elsewhere.

Didn't have time to stay and eat but the menu looked good (if a bit pricey). Garden area looks awesome and would definitely go again and make time for lunch/dinner if I'm ever in the area again.

Stone was first favorite brewery. I loved Stone so much I made a trip out to San Diego just to visit a few of their locations. I thoroughly enjoyed being out in San Diego and checking out their spots. The only thing I didn't like was the beer selection. That part seems so unfortunate. They definitely had good beers at each spot, but were also missing some great ones that I was eager to try. I figured what better place to get their beers than the actual source. With that being said I would still not hesitate to go back to any Stone location in the future.

A must visit for beer lovers in San Diego! Basic tour, but be on the look out as we ran into the owners on our tour. Overall fantastic place.

The outdoor beer garden in Escondido is amazing. Whenever I have visitors, this is on the "Best of" San Diego lists to see.

One of my top favorite breweries!!! I love the selection of great craft beers at the World Bistro in Esco! They have amazing beer festivals and anniversary parties. The food at the Bistro is so good - and pairs with the beers perfectly. I highly recommend enlightening yourselves!!

Cool venue. Nice patio. Been there twice. They have Vegan options! An alternating seasonal menu. Although I had actual stones in my dish, twice, the food was great! Went on a tour which was fun and busy. Not a fan of IPA'd though.

The outside garden is one of a kind...the kind of place you dream about being while enjoying a beer that you can't get anywhere else. Classic and rare Stone offerings. Food wasn't anything I'd run back for, but the environment and beer is like no place I've ever been. Bottom line...amazing...but a little too expensive.
