(From notes.) poured from draft into a pint glass. Dark golden yellow color with a good head and lacing. A clean pine smell, some floral notes. The taste is very hoppy. It is bitter but pleasantly mild. Good beer.

Pours a nice mild amber color with a one-finger head into my glass.

Buttered bread with a good whiff of hops.

Toffee malt with light floral/pine hop bitterness. Interesting finish.

Lacking in hop bite.

L: Pours an orange/Amber with a slight head.

S: Predominantly caramel malt with citrus notes. Slight honey scent with small grassy note.

T: Follows the nose, with good mix of caramel malt, citrus, and grassy hops.

F: Thick and well-carbonated. Great feel.

O: Solid beer. It reminds me of an amber-IPA hybrid with the strong caramel malt and happy citrus hops. I would drink this beer again!

Pours a rich amber gold color with a soapy white head. Smells of citrus , hops, and subtle fruit. Expected more citrus from the smell, but upfront there is a funky bitter taste, followed by a bitter hop finish. Feels like most IPA's. Overall a drinkable beer.

Picked up a bottle of this while I was in Michigan for work. No date on the bottle, but based off of the other reviews, I feel like this could have been a pretty old bottle.

Average appearance, smell, and taste. Little bit of citrus. Very malty with lots of bread characteristics. Nothing special or exciting about this beer.

On tap at a bar called Dark Horse in Chicago. I thought this one was decent. Dry, light body. Slightly hoppy. Was also drinking an Anti-Hero at the same time, so this one kind of got overshadowed.

Pours a hazy orangey amber with a thick creamy white head. The head has moderate retention and leaves some soapy lacing. The downside is the sizable quantity of visible particulate hanging in the beer. I'm all for bottle conditioning but tell me so I don't pour it in my beer. No brewed on or drink-by date. The aroma is nice with mild floral and citrus notes. The taste is OK. Pretty bland, actually. Nothing very noteworthy about it. The body is thinner for what I think they're shooting for. It's not bad, but it wouldn't be my first choice.

The color of this beer was a dark amber, almost with a hint of gold to it. There was a light foam and consistent head to it. The smell is malty and has some citrus notes to it. The taste had obvious strong hops, and a little bit of pine taste to it. The citrus notes are coming through in the taste as well. It has a crisp full bodied finish, complex and nicely balanced. Great Michigan IPA!
