A: Dark carrot orange is dense visibility wise with a dirty white head that was soapy, patchy, thin in depth and short on hold time retention. Strong indication of macro-bubble carbonation bubles.

S: The nose is of creamy oranges, with some earthy green shrubs. The bitterness level is very low, not alot to get out of here, disappointing, and moot.

T: Flavor is grassy-oragnes with only a moderate detectin level of bitterness though not really distinguishable in character, a homegenous soup of citrus if you will. Some piney aspect with a dry finish of grains and and a touch of dry sour lemon, that again is hardly stand out worthy.

M: Good level of carbonation, creamy and vibrant feel on the tongue with a dry piney-grass and alkaline like finish.

O: Overall an otherwise ordinary and average ipa that holds little surprise, excitiment nor reason for another. Hop ibus are low and disappointing as well complexity making for a boring drink.

12oz bottle poured into 22oz bar glass directly from fridge.

A: Medium golden orange. Two finger head with good retention. Lots of suspended bits floating around.

S: Hoppy. Bright fruit aromas, citrusy with a suggestion of banana.

T: It's definitely well balanced, but no "wow" factor. There's nothing bad about the taste, but nothing jumps out at me. The best I can say is it's very drinkable, I could easily put down a six pack without getting sick of it. Despite it's amazing reputation, I won't be jumping at the opportunity to buy this again, especially at the price point.

M: Carbonation is "sizzly". After swallowing my mouth feels juicy and ready for another sip. Very pleasant and appropriate for the style. I like IPA's to have aggressive carbonation to accent the hop flavors and this does it.

O: This is an above average beer, but to me, it's not "great". I like IPA's to have more attack and resiny hop flavors. If you like your IPA's to have a more rounded flavor than this might be the one for you.

On draft at TJ Finley's, Bayshore, NY.

Poured a hazy dark brassy hue with a one finger frothy white head. There was good retention and sticky lacing.

The smell featured round malts with tropical fruit and herbal hops.

The taste consisted of subtly sweet malts, apricot, and a bit of pepper.

The mouthfeel was full for the style and a touch creamy with a lingering pepper.

Overall a well balanced IPA.
