Pours a bit lighter than new penny copper with a medium head that leaves lots of lace. Nose is mostly missing...just a light wiff of a floral orange. Double checked bottle date and it is only 45 days old, so I'm not sure what's going on here. Taste is clean and easy drinking, starting off a touch malty, but drying out and leaving more of that floral orange flavor on the tongue. Overall, a very tame beer that is more for pounding back than savouring.

Bottled 3/5/15; drank 5/9/15 @ the Palace.

Murky dark orange appearance.

HUGE white head; frothy lace.

Orange citrus & banana notes in the nose.

Medium mouthfeel.

Orange citrus, banana & mango flavors up front; bitter grapefruit bite on the finish. Nice flavors but too bitter for me to truly love.

A very nice IPA. Forgot to make notes when I had it the other day so no details but I remember it being a nice well above average IPA.

(From notes.) poured from draft into a pint glass. Dark golden yellow color with a good head and lacing. A clean pine smell, some floral notes. The taste is very hoppy. It is bitter but pleasantly mild. Good beer.

poured from a 12 oz bottle into a Parish Brewing Teku

Appear: beautiful amber clear color. almost ruby had half a finger of foam nice carbonation a few bubbles working their way up from the bottom.

Smell: big malt caramel notes and that's all I'm getting. not getting much of a hop note at all. maybe a little herbal dank green onion smell

Taste: nothing remarkable at all. some resinous piney notes. biting bitterness.

Mouth: thin

Overall: THis is completely unremarkable. average at best. I'm wondering if I am placing my review in the correct place my bottle does not look like the bottle in the photo. it does say Dark Horse on top right and then Crooked Tree India Pale Ale. I also don't have a born on date or a best buy date so maybe mine is old. This is a hard pass for me. I wouldnt recommend or buy this beer ever again. I feel like I'm missing something considering the bros gave it a 100. This is not world class it's a hard pass.

Nose: Floral, sappy, citrus

Look: Unfiltered orange with a healthy head.

Taste: Orange hard candy (think Cream Savers!), smooth, bitter up front, smooth finish.
